Support this if you use this type of service.

Quote
Dear users,
5€ for each first-time order!
30 90 days file-lifetime
New Download Page
Pay using Bitcoins
we are proud to be able to inform you that thanks to your trust in us over many years, we are now among the market leaders in the German-speaking area.

To allow you to participate in this important occasion, we have the raised the discount to almost double what it was. With immediate effect you will receive five Euros (5€) for each first-time order! Please note that this promotion is limited up to and including 12/08/2011.

So that you can relax and enjoy your summer holidays, inactive files will now be stored not for only 30, but for a full 90 days. ✔ Every Premium Member has access to over 10 GB Backup-space.
This means that files will only be deleted if they have not been downloaded for three months and are no longer guaranteed by your Backup- space.

Very shortly, we will be able to offer uploads in two further languages:   Türkçe  &   Português brasileiro.
With this measure we would like to welcome the many Brazilian and Turkish visitors we have had during the last few months.

Besides additional, useful changes such as the newly designed Download Page with a Facebook-like button, we have taken the decision, as the first file hosting service worldwide, to accept bitcoins. You will receive more information on this in the next few weeks.

This is great!

Next step will be to get all your favourite sites (eg. http://alldj.org/) to switch to uploaded.to for their file hosting.

Well, it reminds me that at the start of this May I was trying to convince Rapidshare to be the first big one accepting Bitcoins. Would be beneficial for both Bitcoin and them. Got no reply so far ... Sad

Write to them again and say "Nevermind, uploaded.to is accepting them now so I'll use them instead."

I'm not registered to their site, but upon opening their account registration I see a bitcoin banner (fairly large) in other payment options. From there, you can see:

Quote
Premium duration    incl. points    onetime fee    most popular payment options
48 hours    1.000    4.99 €
~ 0.79084697 BTC» Complete order process with Bitcoin
1 month    4.000    8.99 €
~ 1.42479243 BTC» Complete order process with Bitcoin
3 months    5.000    19.99 €
~ 3.16814246 BTC» Complete order process with Bitcoin
6 months    6.000    34.99 €

This is good stuff.

They need to open a donation address. Donations to these bigger companies are a good way to get them to spread the word as well as they've got much bigger voices when it comes down to others accepting/using bitcoins..

Help Bitcoins by buying clothes, technology, books, etc. through people/stores that accept BTC. This will increase overall value of BTC as well as mitigate unnecessary bank transaction fees.

You're right. I kept clicking in the affiliate program that doesn't have the banners yet. These are indeed good news Smiley

Old, topic but I have a question. Anyone knows similar site for file sharing, where you make money and get paid in Bitcoins? I've emailed uploaded.to few months ago, but they said they're not planning to pay in Bitcoins Sad

I think that someone ( me ? ) should send an email to megaupload, and asking them to enable Bitcoin as payment.
Email will contain this link also as example:

Yes, I know that site. The problem is, nobody knows what is Bitcoin and nobody will pay for the files. I'm looking for a service similar to uploaded.to, filesonic, fileserve etc. where you can download files for free with limitations or buy premium and download with max speed.

i think getting paid in bitcoins will take a while. as a company when you only have a bitcoin address for people you pay what exactly do you put in your tax report? "expenses for unknown employees/contractors"?

btw you can use all important filehosters through premiumize.me. they accept bitcoins too, so you get access to all filehosters for about one bitcoin per month.
my inner reflink-bitch cant resist so: https://secure.premiumize.me/inv/2654459056/

Beat me too it.  Really sad to see.  Especially since the indictment was obtained a bit ago...but wasn't unsealed until the SOPA Protests.  Politically moved anyone ?
