The coin or token promoters are not forced do present an airdrop.If, however, they decide to present an airdrop (making people to sign up, join their telegram group, etc.), then, they should keep their promise. Not keeping to their promise is an indication that the promoters have skeleton in their cupboard. I support listing those kept to their word as well as those who did not. It shows commitment and level of seriousness. Cryptocurrency is all about trust coupled with technology. It is too early and quite unfortunate for such token/coin promoters to begin the lack of trust from people just from start.

I already heard that news today that tokens airdrops are taking off because of some issues. Many people joining airdrops, they only sign up and wait for tokens and i think it is not good. There is nothing free right now, you cant earn any coin if your not doing anything.

and how are we to distinguish between a scam or not? Them very much and even at first glance a normal AirDrop may be a scam. it's just a lottery.

there many scam airdrop nowadays that's why I don't join airdrop, mostly they want you to fill up your private key to receive your high value of tokens that they promise. Better to work in bounty campaigns than joining airdrop.

You did understand it is a charity so where is the scam? You are not scammed. The investors are, which believed it could really open up a new path with promising services they will provide.
But you as just one who will join an airdrop, why are you hurt more?
We have our good moderators here that can trash everything they will post here about airdrops. But they cannot handle it all, so we can help them and try to report this things.

Airdrop is not a charity, airdrop is free money before but for now i think airdrop needs donation, and many airdrop is a scam now and there is no value like the selfdrop when you sent 0 ethereum then you will have token but the truth is when you do selfdrop then the gas will go to the owner of that airdrop I've just read it before here in forum I can't remember the topic of it.

What I hate the most is to receive useless Airdropped tokens which I will never be using. I hate such a promotional activity and for me is not different from spam. If I really want to take part in an airdrop I will be asking for it not the other way around

There are too many false airdrops in circulation, most of them pay little or nothing. Personally I am only doing airdrops of high rated companies after doing detailed analysis, it is useless to waste time for nothing

Very little profit, I read some conversation that they got 1 - 2 dollars worth of the useless tokens, they are so mad about it but the reality is that there are tons of participants who are constantly dumping the price of the said token better to be thankful that the coin hit exchanges and the devs pay them cause 85 - 95% of airdrops are total scams or abandoned.

Yeah, now i stop to join Airdrop.

Got a lot of coins from a bounty that cost 5 to 8 ETH based on the ICO price guess what? the project ended in January until now there's no update. That was my first bounty when I was a newbie traumatic experience.

I think you shouldn't waste your time participating in Airdrops, most of them are scams at the moment. Even if you get your tokens, most of them will cost like 1$ or so.

You hit it, though they are free tokens you need to follow their rules to get the coin, funny thing is some projects requires KYC to claim a 1 dollar cost tokens.

You are right. Even maximum airdrops fake. Something look like scam. But some better project gives coin.
Actually, I think its a system for collect ETH address (ERC20).
Some phishing can be. SO, we need to silent and search the better project, then fill up airdrop form.

so I never do airdrop, unless it's the project that I got my eyes on already.
doing all the airdrop you saw is just a waste of time when there 1% chance that it's a good coin!

Yes, now there are a lot of projects that create airdrops, as far as I understand they do not want to have anything to do with the SEC, so they just create an airdrop and do not collect anything from investors, but simply give up, but in the end, when people who received tokens start to withdraw they are beginning to sell their tokens to the stock exchanges.

They need an donation so we can receive a token from them but after few days or weeks we can't receive at all because it's fake airdrop. Doing scam in airdrop so they will gain an ETH, but why other people send ETH in airdrop, airdrop is free no need to give ETH at all.

Hi guys! Thank you for bringing this up! I agree with it. Lately numerous counts of airdrops are seemingly not giving away their promused tokens so our efforts will not pay off. It seems like doing airdrops now will waste our energy and time. Most of the airdrops also requires eth contribution.

Guys, calm down. I never participate in airdrops if joining form asks to download some software before filling it. Hackers found easy way to trap hungry bounty hunters. This kind of softwares later do its job like to encrypt the whole computer or steal my private information without my permission. Always be careful and use latest updates on your os softwares.
