I disagree, as not the holders decide where the market goes, the price of the tokens are shown the actual price (no demand), that means there is a big problem for cryptocurrency as everyone is waiting for regulations from the government and G20 Summit this week I think. Be patient everyone, it is going to be a tough year!

Hodlers are going to end up waiting for more than a year. If they are not going to dump right now, as a result the price can get lower than it is as those whales are going to keep dumping until you panic. You can either give them what they want, sell your BTC and tokens to them or get rich with them when they finally buy back.

Exactly! For as long as there is a strong and resilient community of Bitcoin hodlers, the price of Bitcoin will never go down rock bottom. This is the thing that prevents the demand from going to an all time low. But then again we need a much bigger community of Bitcoin hodlers as there will always be some who are shifting to altcoins and some are selling. In the end, hodling will always win. The hodlers will be rewarded with more profit than those who have weaker hands.

Yes, there is no reason to sell altcoins for such cheap prices like now. But, if BTC will continue to fall, then more and more hodlers will panic and sell their alts for the cheapest prices.

But it may better to sell them as a high as you can. The market is really unpredictable especially with so many ponzi and scam coins which destroyed the credibility of cryptocurrency itself. My thought that we will see bitcoin worth below $7 again and then it will be jumping again to above 11k in the future. This just like a money game dude.

they did nothing actually. holders are not preventing the price to go down, the whale does. but holding a lot of coin will hurt if the price keep declining. some holders sell their token to cut losses.

True. Its usually the holders that prevent the prices from falling any further. The support levels we see while trading in any crypto currencies in the market at particular points are usually the buy orders that are placed by the new investors. I would say it’s the new investors that prevent from falling of prices further more, but its also the holders for sure as they hold the coin and don’t dump them therefore preventing the support level from breaking. So its said, HODL and everything will be good.

HODLERS doesn't want to get their profit below their expected price. Like in bitcoin, we've seen it moved up rapidly and it reached ATH. By the time it went down further, there's no other reason for a HODLER to sell at the bottom so everyone is holding now. True. There is no one that would like to sell their holding for lose, everyone in the crypto market is here to make profit. There are some weak hands in crypto world though, that usually panic when the price drops and do panic sell and regret later.

But experienced people usually hold their coins until they have profit. Though, whales are responsible to hold the price of bitcoins, but many times they are also responsible for the dumps and dips that are seen in the market. We don’t need to thank them, they just manipulate the market as per their needs to gain profit.

It's the fact that we are all in the crypto market to make profit. Before it was different, when I was quite new everyone isn't investing for the profit but investing for the technology that they believe will bloom in the future. But the time is changing and presently, everyone is looking to chase down for profit. And if you are for it, you better not follow the path of those people who are in panic today and starting to make the world in fear because of statements that are only favoring them.
