inb4 yet another post whining about merit

NO!!

Just a quick small suggestion that can the link for someone's merit page be added to where the merits are shown on the left? Like how we can click someone's trust to go to their trust page. It's kinda triggering that to see someone's merit I need to first click on their profile, then click on the merit link to see their merit.

Again this probably is a very small thing in the large number of other issues but just something I felt could be a Quality of life improvements of sorts

Side note: Can we chill with the threads whining about merits being added, it'll irritating as hell to see 300 posts in meta about how it should be removed mainly from some shitposters.

Bonus: Create a "Fuck Merit System" Megathread and lock the others so all of shitposters can be concentrated in one place (not to mention they have an extremely obsessive love for the megathreads anyway. Win Win in my books)

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I have not seen any thread complaining about merit system in last 3-4 days. Some of threads on first page in meta against merit system are those added quite before and someone added a reply recently thus pushing them up. Most of the members have realized that it is not going to be taken back and thus there is no point in complaining again and again. Some might have realized that their intentions will never get fullfilled here now and thus they might have left.

Well new threads have stopped popping up and it's just existing threads that are being bumped (excluding this and the stickied thread) there's 14 threads about merit.

Anyway we're deviating from the issue at hand here

As long it has "merit" in the title of the thread, the analogy is,"IT IS ANOTHER  THREAD WHINING ABOUT MERIT".Received it as exactly as it was portrayed.

This is rather a personal suggestion than a feature requirement.I don't really mind navigating to an user's page to see their merits because I don't do it very frequently. (I don't need to)

Again this probably is a very small thing in the large number of other issues but just something I felt could be a Quality of life improvements of sorts

Chill ? Of course,I make sure I keep my gatorade handy as I dive into the sewers of Merit threads.

I'll let theymos speak to you,
I'll get right on that, just as soon as hell freezes over.

Unless you are looking for a competitive person in the field of something it can truly give an employer of such convenient.
But as Joel_Jansten said this is rather a personal gain/interest.

You can always click open thread in new tab.

Yeah it's not exactly a pressing issue, I just pointed it in a sense like "It would be nice to have" and unless I'm mistaking something it wouldn't be as code heavy I believe. As for the not doing it frequently part, I kinda like checking the page for some quality posters to look for some "worth a read" threads since I get a slightly more restricted feed of content I know has a higher chance being quality than just wading through the thousands of "good project" and "MOON LAMBO MOON" threads

I guess the term was kinda heavy, what I meant was it was less of a urgent issue or any major "issue" in the first place and more of a trivial improvement that some would find useful.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ok, I do not think it's a problem with this suggestion.
I can imagine every post from these people, maybe people can't tell which part is for the posts and for the receive and send merit list.  Grin
