Read about the strains that those who attempt to time the market go through and it's clear that holding makes for a more peaceful life.
This is exactly what I was saying in a post a week ago:
I've quit totally trading since 6 months ago, haven't put up one single trade apart from selling a few mbits for cash for expenses and it was probably the best thing I've ever done.
I can look at the red charts and say...yeah...not nice, without actually giving a damn.
HODLing is the best.
Price is 9600, 8790 , 9531, 8732,11441....don't give a....
I'm past the age when I could have enough spare time to actually trade.
When the family and job take most of your time, you can't really trade and it's going to become a serious stress factor.
You will always leave in FOMO and end up with sleepless nights.
I find it kinda hard to HODL when the marketing is bearish... there is a lot of stress:p
Do you think going HODL might be bad for the health?
I don't think heath is the main issue here mate. First and foremost we hope to have a great amount of profit as we believe on our hodl shares that we have. Same as what I did I just keep believing that someday my coins will definitely increase soon as I still hodl it as much as possible. Regarding on the health issue well, it depends on the resistance of each users since this kind of job that involves money we need to be physically fit and aware the possible negative outcome.
You're wrong, health is the main issue in everything!
When you're going to be so happy you've made 100k and next day the doctor tells you some bad news you're going to ask yourself what was the purpose of doing it all.
