Its either your tokens were stolen or it is hidden because you have click the minus sign in your wallet ,re-add the custom token address so your coins will be shown to you,if you arent using metamask i suggest you should install it know so these phishing sites wont have any chance to steal your private keys do not let people fool you, secure your private keys and you will be okay .

Probably it didnt disappear,it s just hidden because you might be accidentally clicked the minus sign in your wallet so you will need to re-add tha custom tokens so that your tokens will be shown, always protect yourselves with these scammers so that your wallet wont be compromised install metamask extension and you will be fine.

In general, the coins placed in your wallet should not be lost. Someone translates them, maybe you caught a virus that controls your wallet. Check your computer for viruses, and of course change all passwords

Hello friends

I noticed the free ERC20 token I added to myetherwallet disappears when I re-login to  MEW, after adding the tokens.

A friend said it could be a bug. Now I am afraid to keep using that wallet.

Has anyone experience such?

Pls advise.

Thanks

you afraid to use myetherwallet? then what will you use if not mew? is there any other wallet that supports erc20?

It free token anyway, the creator of the token might have added some condition to the contract of your free token. And sometimes, your token might not be properly display by the ethplorer or mew instantly. Try to check the token on etherscan.

Your tokens are still there, but the wallet is not showing them. Most likely you did not save it and clean everything after that. Anyway you still have your tokens and have to add them again.

I did save the tokens well. But when I login I dont fimd them

I have the same problem. Adding and saving a new token, which is not in the list of tokens in the MEW wallet, it appears, but after re-entering the wallet, everything has to be done on a new one.
If we add a new custom token to our MyEtherWallet wallet, a minus sign appears in the circle next to the token symbol. If you accidentally click on it, the user token again will no longer be visible. Coins will be in your wallet, but you will need to repeat the operation again with the addition of a new user token. In order to check if there are tokens in the wallet, it is better to use the function etherscan.io.

You can search for your ETH address in the block browser, and if these tokens still exist, it's the wallet problem.
Then you can use an online wallet.

Have you tried using ETHPLORER or ETHERSCAN to check the balance or the tokens listed on your wallet? You have to manually register first the token name, contract address and decimals before it will appear on your MEW. If you already did these option and still not seeing your tokens, you got phished or hacked your private key that gives access to your wallet. Never save your private key on your device or double check the website if its fake or not.

You can query the block browser, there will be a token transaction record, which can determine whether the wallet error or the token is stolen, if there is no transaction record then you can try to save the private key for a wallet use try, hopefully You help

A friend of my is experiencing this same issue - his token disappear so he has to save the token again.

He is using metamask.

I wonder why this is happening. I advised him to use imtoken instead
