Title here is misleading "Google prohibits advertising Bitcoin. What will happen to Bitcoin?"
They're prohibiting cryptocurrencies and related content ads, i think it doesn't affect bitcoin much, as bitcoin is already famous. ICO might be get hit big time and it's a good thing, there will be lesser or no scam ICOs. anyways decentralized advertising network already exists.
I agree with you.
I would say it's good that fraudulent ICOs will not be able to spread as much as it is now.

And do you see anything bad here? Btw will yahoo, bing and ask.com follow them?
On another hand, there are many scam crypto websites, ICOs, wallets and etc. There was a lot of reports on mixers and etc.
So it worths for google to prohibit advertising of any crypto project and it's absolutely fair decision.
And your question is useless, it won't do any negative impact.

The largest search engine on the planet, Google, announced formally it will restrict advertisement of “Cryptocurrencies and related content (including but not limited to initial coin offerings, cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency trading advice),” including aggregators and affiliates regarding “cryptocurrencies and related content.”
The article itself completely: news.bitcoin.com/following-facebook-google-bans-crypto-ads-no-currencies-icos-exchanges-wallets-advice/

What do you think will happen to Bitcoin and his price?
I think they not accept bitcoin anymore because some here are not here like they add ads in google to scam or hack other

So if that the situation i think better to register first in google or need license to run some business about crypto there

And if we don't have choice then the impact in no more ads in google is really big because there's a lot of ads there to promote crypto to gain value or to become high

Exactly, I don't know what's the big fuss all about? Yes, it might have a small dent on the price, but we all know that its also have short term effect.

I also think that its really a good move on their part. Why? so that those scammers will have one less way to promote their scams on the web.

I think banning cryptocurrencies anywhere like countries and websites are sometimes a good sign of improvement. The fact that they are concern and giving attention to such technology that may have a large impact to many must be reviewed first and i think that's whats happening today. Though this may be an FUD, I do hope that people see this in a different perspective and not just a reason to leave. Everything will come to their quality in the near future and everything could be strongly trusted by that time.

At least we can see some legitimacy if we can curb those scammers. Its really bring bad name to crypto so we better rid of this scammers so that crypto will get some semblance of trust from investors all over the world.

There are many ICOs that are advertised in Google. Many of them are scams. So it is not a bad news. I don't think the current price fall is due to this news. There is no effect on bitcoin. Everything is same as before and the current price fall is happening by whales.

There are a lot scammers in crypto-world. Most ICO's are scams and tries to loot people, Google do not want that this ruins their image in market. So they decided to ban All cryptocurrency related ads completely to stay out of this.

Good for us because there will be no more scam ICO's popping up when we look for something like a cryptocurrency investment. It will not affect that much to Bitcoin's price but the ability for people to look for knowledge about crypto will be limited but in a positive way where we can be sure that the project we are in is legit because Google does not allow shady projects anymore.

The problem is that fraudulent ICOs can be advertised in other ways. And In general, scammers rarely bought advertising in Google.

I am pretty sure that it wont affect bitcoin in any way. Why would it affect anyway , do you think bitcoin is being run by Facebook, google or other platforms like that? I dont think that, they are just way to convey the message from entrepreneur to customers that their business does exist and nothing else. Tell you what there are lot more platforms which may be small and may not exist on the large scale like google but they still can convey the messages to customers through their advertisement so we do have options in short. Bitcoin will get shaken little bit in initial stages but really dont think that it is major issue.

I don't think anything will happen, because people still numb, in recent months, the whole market is in decline, so even if Google ban Cryptocurrency marketadvertising and it has long been expected.

Bitcoin will not happen. Bitcoin will still exist. As long as someone holds it, it suffices.

When will this ban will occur and implemented? I'm annoyed with the sister company of google which is youtube that does have a lot of force ads that doesn't have any skip button. The last one I've watched the video few minutes ago before posting this is about a miner ICO, I forgot the name and it's a hell of 48 seconds ad without any skip button.

I guess google wants to monopolize bitcoin by banning bitcoin related ads even so bitcoin will still exists and still be doing good on the market. There are some social media sites still approves and supports bitcoin ads, so there is nothing to worry about.

Google just want to prohibit  adversiting in adwords. But he would not block search requests. So nothing happened and no reason to worry.

I'm afraid that Google is connected with Youtube. In this regard, it will be more difficult to advertise ICO.
Also in many bounty campaigns there is the opportunity to earn coins with the help of Youtube. Now, there may not be this possibility.

Why are you afraid that google is connected with youtube? LOL they are in the same company and this is why if google implements that thing, then youtube will do it too. About the video making in some bounties, I don't think they are affected. It's only about the paid advertisements that are being endorsed through different videos and channels. You can still create your own video on your own channel about that bounty.

I don't think the Google's prohibition on  crypto-currencies and ICO advertising will have a strong influence on bitcoin and altcoins.
Their price has already fallen on this news. On the other hand, bounty hunters will earn much more, because the money invested in advertising will now go to them.

How can you say so mate? Google is the largest search engine in use now and not all but most of the people trusts google. If they would think that google sees cryptocurrencies as threats and scams and as a illegal activity, its worse than just an FUD that would spread very quick. Of course it would have an effect because media sources are the source of trust and interest. If people won't trust this technology then it will lose popularity and demand.

Price fallen, because people cant thinking. And very easy manimulate them! Read carefully! Google, twitter, facebook - prohibit only PAID ADVERSITING! This would be better for crypto. Will be less scam projects. But groups in twitter, facebook live and will be live as usually. Sites will be live as well, and google want not block search keywords!

But there are new cryptocurrencies, worthy of attention. Namely this ban gives them less method of advertising.
