Lets do an Aim that we will not fear from any bad news and will Support BITCOIN

In the past an year ago the price of bitcoin was going much better on upward direction and everyone was of the opinion that bitcoin is a decentralized currency and no one even the governments can harm it and it is in the control of the users and holders. If the holders will not sell at low then none of the world power can reduce its price. At that time I remember none of the bad news was having power to reduce the price of bitcoin. I remember when Russia banned bitcoin in their country and there was not any affect of it in bitcoin. But nowadays it became the mentality of the users of bitcoin that when any bad news come then the price will reduce so with any bad news they start to sell as faster as they can and in that way they dump the price too much.

So today I decided to start a campaign to aware everyone that bitcoin is a decentralized currency and none of the bad news can harm its price unless we sell at low.

In this campaign we every user of bitcoin have to make this aim and have to promote it to everyone that we will not fear from any bad news and have to keep it in mind that we will not sell our coin when any bad news come.

That’s true, bitcoin is held by not a single person or a single authority in the world or governments, it is held by all the members of community. Therefore, unless we people decide to sell bitcoin and other altcoins, nothing can affect the prices of the crypto currencies.

I don’t know what people are even afraid of. They must be happy and investing more that their country is not banning crypto currencies and is rather taking measures to regulate it among the country. All we must HODL crypto and not sell them because of bad news, cause in the end its we people that control the prices of crypto currencies.

Now there has to be a period of the price falling for the coins to transfer back from those weak hands and in to the hands of people who will hold again through the difficulties. You are right that it's simply solved by not selling but I feel as though your suggestion is falling on death ears.

True. Dips are surely necessary in crypto market to ensure that all the weak hands are removed from the market because there are many people in crypto market with knowledge and experience that usually sell cryptos in panic when they see the price falling without knowing the reason. I personally think that this dip was necessary to remove those weak hands. Not as the market has crashed quite is bit and has somewhat become stable, I believe that its just the strong investors and traders that are holding the coins. Therefore, I surely think that from now own crypto currencies will rise, recover and reach new all time highs.

All we have to do is to educate all of the investors of bitcoin about it and about its future and have to teach them about all the coming rewards by bitcoin to its holders. If they will know about the coming future of bitcoin and about their role for bringing that bright future then they will start believing on bitcoin and they will happily and with strength support bitcoin and will promote it everywhere.

Although we do so, we cannot spread the knowledge to each and every person in the country. This work must be done by the governments of each country to educate their people about new technologies, digital life, blockchain and crypto currencies. The market will grow and prosper only when people living in the country have proper knowledge about crypto currencies and on what technology they work with its uses.

The problem is that no matter how hard you try to push the benefits of bitcoin there will always be people who fail to understand or simply just do not believe. And right now that's still a large portion of the overall population because they're mostly incapable of believing anything unless the status quo tells them to believe in it.

We ourselves can only do so much to spread information and promote bitcoin to the world.

There are always people who would support bitcoin through thick and thin but due to its nature being a tradable entity, people would just continue to buy and sell and the news would have a big effect to it. Good news would make the people buy and bad news for would make the people sell because it is expected that it will go down. It is not really because people lose faith in it that they sell it but because of the opportunity to earn more and once someone sold, it would go lower and more people would sell and it will have a domino effect. there is a saying in trading that when you don`t know how to trade you win more rather than you think that you know and as far as I can see whoever made a bit of money with btc thinks he she is a successful trader which results in poor decision if see the big picture.

Although I agree with this campaign but cannot be denied because there are still many bitcoin users who always panic when they hear FUD news about bitcoin so they sell their bitcoin and cause the market price to decline. However, the FUD news also has the benefit of bitcoin price fluctuations so we can take advantage of the price reduction to buy bitcoin much cheaper than before because of the fluctuations we can use as a tool for trading in the short term. But, for the long-term, I think FUD news that often appears will not be too influential because every year the bitcoin holders will certainly always benefit.

Well there are many bitcoin loyalist who does that, including me but sadly bitcoin loyalist have no control over the vast supply of bitcoin. During the December madness, there are a lot of irrational buyers, those investors, usually newbies who really thinks that bitcoin will make them millionaires. That's why they keep buying at top price and even though there are negatives news coming around, it didn't have any significant dent because, investors keep pouring money into the ecosystem. And those that are selling in the last 3 months are those who invested in December. They got burned and murdered when the market suddenly when into bearish sentiment.

Good initiative. actually I think most of the members are really fighting those FUD that is going around. Just go and look at the speculation thread, lots of thread saying that bitcoin is going to go down as low as $2000. LOL. Lot of doomsayers, but we have to fight back, inform everyone that this is just another bump along the way and eventually everything will fall into the right pieces and soon we will bounce back from this bearish trend.

Is surely has affected the crypto market quite a bit currently. But it is expected to recover soon. Not only the news of Google, youtube and facebook banning crypto advertisements was the reason for the downfall of the crypto market, there were also other reasons such as south korea closing down anonymous exchanges and US regulating strict law against the launching of the ICO’s to secure people from losing their investments on a scam project.

The correction is massive currently, but there is nothing to worry cause we all know that market will recover soon and rise more stronger than previous times.

The reason for the drop of bitcoin and other crypto currencies were :
1.   South Korean government banning anonymous crypto exchanges.
2.   US government regulating launching of ICO’s and applying strict rules on them.
3.   Google, Youtube and Facebook banned crypto currencies advertisements.
This sums up the answer to your question why bitcoin dropped suddenly.
