The real future of bitcoin lies to the hands of its investors and supporters so if we keep on supporting bitcoin for 50 years then it will be big. But there can be some new technology that will try to defeat bitcoin and many will go and choose that new tech but its happening today so these type of guess are in progress today. No one can give an exact information and detailed future of bitcoin for 50 years. As long as it is here to stay and it has value it will have a good future.

Honestly, nobody knows right now what will happen in a month or even earlier, and you ask about Bitcoin in 50 years. I wish it could exist, but probably it will be used (might be used) as traditional currency (as a variant).

the future of bitcoin will remain one of the assets of the virtual currency. I still doubt the bitcoin can replace the fiat currency.
but, in an era, today is the era of digital technology. and almost everyone uses the internet as a tool of knowledge, transactions etc. this is why I believe bitcoin has a great chance until 50years ahead.

The future of bitcoin is very unpredictable. No one knows what will/can happen to bitcoin in 5 years. Much more if it is for 50 years. In the span of 50 years, there will be changes. Lot of changes. From technology, environment, the way we live. Everything can change. We don't even know if bitcoin/crypto still exist at that time. Maybe bitcoin is dead? It can also be the replaced by another crypto. We can't just think of happy endings for bitcoin. We should also be ready for the downfall, rise, and the negative events that bitcoin might face. We cant actually predict it, but to think it has been successful for years praying for the success to continue cuz ofcourse we are the major beneficiary.

the last bitcoin will be produced in about 2140 and what will happen with the bitcoin itself and of course we will not live to see this before, but our great-grandchildren and other relatives will most likely live in an all-digital world and, most likely, about some fiat currencies, the youth to know nothing will be and will be surprised at something like that. All probably know that the bitons can be only exactly 21 million and after all they are mined every day, so what happens when the last bitcoin is mined and new ones do not appear any more! Therefore, bitcoin is fundamentally different from the philosophical crypto-currencies that governments can print how much they want and therefore there is constant inflation on them. By bitcoin, on the contrary, there is a diffusion process due to the fact that part of the bitcoins are lost. Here are lost passwords, flew a hard drive or USB flash drive with passwords and etc.. and all of them are no more. And in the first years they were lost a lot and because bitcoin was not particularly appreciated. The cleaning and reward for each block at the very beginning was 50 bitcoins (MILLION DOLLARS for today !!!) and then after about 4 years it decreased by half 25 then 12.5 MTC and this is today's payment and in 2020 will go 6.25 bitico. As you can see, the algorithm has been worked out in such a way that it completely prevents inflationary processes, in contrast to the philosophical crypto currency. Actually, the bitcoins will be less than 21 million.

I really like with Your optimistic statement...  But I think no body knows about the next 50 years especially about bitcoin...  I think we have to always prepare about what will happen in the future...  But thinking positive about bitcoin for now is a good  option and keep our spirits always on to keep our bitcoin...

Bitcoins probably won't be king anymore in 50 years. There's probably a new kid in town that's way cheaper than bitcoins, although it has somehow a similar price, and then better features compared to its great grand dad. 50 years is a lot of time to develop high tech cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin in 50 years or more i think that year btc had a big amount of price because bitcoin is increasing price every year and its not a scam  because everybody supporting in bitcoin it is never end..

I see a fully positive future for bitcoin, by 2068 the government of each country should already fully decide how it will function within the country and bitcoin will become an integral part of our lives.
