Just thought I'd add to the growing number of people getting screwed by MTGOX. I sold 2 BTC which i tried to withdraw. Wish i'd checked here first as I wouldn't have gone near them. 4 weeks later and still no money from them. I then cancelled the withdrawal only to have to try and buy my bitcoins back. 1 week later someone finally bought them but at a loss of 0.4 BTC to me. I know it's not huge but I really wish I hadn't used them.

I would certainly advise anyone else agains't using them.

yep like i say - i wish i'd checked here first. My bad and a mistake i won't make in future.

Hopefully my post stops a few people trading there and losing out.

They still have a well-known brand despite their falling market share, so it's no surprise they are still a player. never used Gox myself, and never plan to, though. Certainly not after reading all the horror stories over the past several months.
