General trend down MARCH 2018. Any idea?

My thoughts are similar. If we look at the charts of top-5 coins in the list, you may see that all the price changes of 2018 don't look so dramatic. Bitcoin is down 2x but with no fast price changes. Eth has a bit worse situation with the current tendency looking like a downward one. Ripple is pretty much like btc since February, while bitcoin cash is even more stable and less downward. Litecoin has bigger peaks and downs, but is also not doing too bad. I think that the following months we'll see something like stabilization around current prices or 30% more than current ones, which will let people calm down and start investing into the market more, as the prices would still be low and stop going down. That's why full recovery is expected to occur by the end of summer.

General trend was not bullish at all, but with bad news "google banning crypto ads" market crashes it is already very vulnerable to such news.

that's right, the news is like a leading role in the fall of the market this time and causes a sustained panic even if seen until a few years ago then the market fell flat in the month of March and right away select in mid year. hopefully it will happen again in this year.

If they ban private coins like monero, everything is going to hell, because that would mean they regulate everything elese, and the idea of crypto dies.

It's all because we rose too high too quickly in December and early January, this is just the pullback from that.
Don't panic. IF you have good coins, they are still good coins - don't panic sell at a low price. Just hold, and the market will recover soon enough. April is usually a good month.

It was because bitcoin is also dropping. Fundamentally, we must be in a better situation now after the January/February bubble burst and march must the the month we could recover but sadly, there are too many FUD and that Mt.Gox bitcoin dump. Three years and *this* prompted you to register and make your post? I could understand if it was in December when Bitcoin spiked all the way to almost $20k, but this March news when we actually had a worst time in February?

G20 is an important event for traditional finance sure, but it's really just where promises are made, and conveniently forgotten. Strange that after three years you still think that sort of political handshake could affect a currency beyond their control?
