Looking at the order book -- https://vaultofsatoshi.com/orderbook -- I don't know if I'm ready to move any funds there. 0.5% trade fees for <100 BTC traded in a month (I mean, look at that order book). Can't see deposit/withdrawal options.

Has anyone used this site yet. It looks somewhat well designed, but I don't see withdraw options.

They gave away ~$1100 of Reddit Gold yesterday, so they attracted a lot of attention, but I don't know anyone who's used the exchange. Good PR though.

Interesting. Well, like I said, the order book looks pretty thin, LOL. I'm lazy to sign up at the moment, but I'd love to hear what kind of deposit and withdrawal options they have, and if anyone has tried it.

What is reddit gold?

It adds some extra features and bonuses to Reddit and helps pay for server costs ($3.99/month, bitcoin accepted). There's a list of the features at http://reddit.com/gold/about.

That was a pretty big giveaway. I think they should have given free BTC or $ on their site. Reddit Gold is not really related to BTC.

Yeah, it seemed like an odd choice -- why Reddit gold? Why not run a BTC promo for Redditors instead? Seems very strange, but.... hopefully this exchange goes somewhere? Seems pretty empty....

I think that's the catch 22 here. Everybody is waiting till they get more orders, but they won't get orders if everyone's waiting.

They'd have more luck getting funds on the exchange if they offered a small return on deposits a la mcxNow.

Are they promoting the site in any way? This market does have some level of saturation... can't just expect people to flock to a new site for no other reason than because it is new.

Did they take the bittcoin favicon from bitcointalk? They both look the same in my tab bar.

<edit> Also, nice site, but don't you think requiring people to send PGP encrypted email may be a little overboard? No other exchange requires this. Why not just implement a simple upload feature on the site for verification documents?
