As you can see many people becoming addict on playing online games, what do you think the factors why they addicted on playing online games.

For me, I think that they addicted because of the content, they express their feeling on gaming and on the article that I've read excessive gaming or being addict on playing online games is a disease which is no longer normal.

What do you think guys?? Why??

It's an escape from reality where you can become the hero. Speaking from personal experience, I was addicted to videogames like league of legends for years. I liked to win and would break doors and keyboards when losing. It was my way of saying ''I'm not doing very well in real life'' however most people think that addicted players are lazy or stupid which is far from reality, the truth is that most of them are actually depressed or extremely stressed with real life and need help.

Because the game is better than their miserable life. I'm lucky to get an hour of gaming into a week.
Kids who spend 12 hours playing video games means that their parents aren't doing such a great job in minding them. Any parent would know that 3 hours straight was bad enough.

You can escape from reality.
This is really sad how many people feel depressed nowadays. Many teenagers can only feel important inside a fiction as a video game, where they can be heroes, they can fly, they can rescue the princess and they can stop thinking for a while on the bullying they suffer at school, for instance.
In many ways, the increase of the video games use can be related to the society we are building, tied to a feeling of immanence and pointless style of life. There are not challenges enough for smart people surrounded by stupidity. For instance: a brilliant young man loving maths in a normal high school with glasses and quite fat, probably will feel really alone, for his companion's concerns are related to beauty, social recognition, sports, social media, clothes, shopping... and a big "BLAH". Imagine he's concern about the universe, about the future, about space traveling, he will be called "nerd" and become the focus of many jokes.
Then he can go home and play his video games where he receives points and recognition for resolving problems, for thinking...

The reason why there are lots of online game addict its because they are too hook up in technology.Mostly those people just wanna ease some boredom, forget problems even for awhile and also a person who had a creative mind were he/she feels like they are one of the character in the game they played.

I do not understand people who spend a lot of time on computer games. In the world there are so many interesting, so many cool people, the world is huge, is not it interesting to study at least part of it? I do not understand gamers.

A really simple answer yet hard to understand is "fun". Because they like what they felt and they are having fun with game they played. This makes them addicted to it. The reason is they do mot enjoy life the other way so they felt that the game they played was the onky thing that could make them happy.

here are several factors that influence the development of game addiction. First of all, it is a personal factor: an unstable personality, lack of self-control skills, dissatisfaction with real life make a person more addicted to online games.

Sometimes game addiction appears due to the mental disorders. It's about various anxiety states, propensity to depression. Immersion in virtual reality helps people with psychopathy protect themselves from the real world, feel important, achieve a state of psychological well-being, even for a short period of time.

Reward system also develops the online game addition. A number of games suggest a special game cycle. This cycle includes rewarding the player for the actions taken and encouraging him to continue playing. Waiting for such an award causes a chemical reaction in the human body, accompanied by the release of dopamine - the "pleasure hormone".

Any type of games feels like real to your brain. So when you are trying to make your character better inside the game it feels real to you. Thats why so many people gets addicted. Their virtual life is wat better then the real one
