It is possible that bitcoin will become unpopular or maybe not. Bitcoin is quite popular today, many campaigns, forums and stories where bitcoin is featured and we've seen its value and importance. If bitcoin is about to become unpopular, maybe it will take centuries. But for now, let's enjoy the benefits we get from it.

It's a matter of time for the bitcoin loses it's popularity but base on what i read from an article it says that Bitcoin is at risk of losing its popularity; this is according to Nobel Prize-winning economist Robert Shiller who recently compared the Cryptocurrency with the “tulip mania” period that occurred in the Netherlands centuries ago.
Yes I agree. Bitcoin is the first digital coin in decentralized cryptocurrency. And is the most popular and promising coin. Many people now are moving into digital technology because it's easy and efficient low cost transaction. So bitcoin cannot loose it's popularity.

Bitcoin will never lose its popularity as long as "crypto world" exists because it is the first digital currency ever and has widen its acceptance around the world. Bitcoin also helped many people until now in earning money because it is not like any job where you need to apply a resume and undergo interviews. You can earn by investing or by trading.

As we see that bitcoin price is down since last three months but still not reaching to its highest level.
Is bitcoin loose its popularity ?

That is possible if another form of altcoin has provided better specs that are to be assumed as much more reliable and credible. That would shift people's mind to patronize that and leave bitcoin.

Bitcoin is really an up and down see saw investment, that what makes it much exciting to deal with. It has been like that for almost a decade, are you not getting use to it? That is how it really works. And , perhaps that is the reason why it became so popular and gain such value that is even higher than any other traditional investment in the market. As long as we are here to support bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, it will never loose popularity and fame.

Yes bitcoin has lost its popularity. It has lost its popularity as to a "double your money daily scheme". Bitcoin still is quite young i mean its technology is young earlier people used it just because they were seeing a huge uptrend in its graph. But the strength with which it is still holding clearly signifies how important its technology also is. I think bitcoin is now gaining popularity as a cryptocurrency rather than an investment.

I agree, there are probably people who hopped onto the wagon in december and have since jumped off after losing out
And there are those for whom it was a fad but long term bitcoin and crypto will be growing.
It just has too much to offer now fot it to be totally abandoned.

What is happening now is just a market situation and it's normal and doesn't has anything to do with popularity. Bitcoin remain the most popular coin among all other altcoin and it will take years before it can experience any serious competition. Bitcoin remain popular and the price would bounce  back again.

I think that's not going to happen considering bitcoin as the mainstream of the cryptoworld and by looking at its market capitalization, you can say how in demand bitcoin is today.

i think bitcoin will remain its popularity until people still use this as a way of payment and a currency. It is like a cash that never lose its popularity due to its purpose and also compared to cash it does have more functionality this is this the reason why its popularity will never fade but its also a hyperbole i can never predict its future and i only base this to the current state of it.

Bitcoin popularity is also know as a 'market dominance' it went down to 31% in the past few months, but is currently at 42% todays. thus, it is currently recovering fast and in time, it would reach 50% market dominance.

The fact that bitcoin is not likely to lose its status as the dominant cryptocurrency,Atleast right now i dont think bitcoin will lose its popularity. When looking at the market caps of popular cryptocurrencies, one of the things a lot of people like to focus on is Bitcoin’s status relative to the other coins. While it’s a great way to see which coins are climbing up the ranks and increasing in adoption and value.

Yes, I think bitcoin will become more and more popular. Now more and more people around the world understand and participate in bitcoin. Although the price of bitcoin has dropped a lot, I don't think the price of bitcoin has anything to do with its popularity.
