Our project uses a modular architecture that provides maximum protection against all types of attacks. In other words, our project consists of separate blocks, each of which is physically and logically separated from each other. Each block uses a separate server, and these blocks can be located in different data centers.

For example, part of the frontend consists of 2 blocks – 'proxy server' and 'landing'.

Client ---> Proxy Server ---> Landing




23rd of June, there was a problem with the 'landing' block: our customers could see 502 error instead of our site. This error was generated by the 'proxy server' which could not access the server of 'landing'.

The landing block itself has neither a database nor access to nodes and interacts only with 1 block - backend, which in turn interacts with all other blocks.

The primary task is to hide access to the backend, for this reason, the landing block is the most protected. Disk encryption is used, the web server is running in a sandbox, all script connections pass through internal sockets, so even a critical vulnerability in the landing scripts will not give anything. The connection between the proxy server and the landing page is securely encrypted.

Returning to your worrying, the landing is in the data center, which is reliably protected from all kinds of attacks. Including from withdrawals. The data center is in a country that is not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, unfortunately problems with the electricity are not uncommon there Another disadvantage of this data center is its capability, standby generators of the data center can not provide continuous operation for many days, but unlike major American or European data centers this data center provides maximum security. It is a priority for us.


You're probably also wondering why we use proxy servers, if the landing is securely protected? There are two reasons for this:

1. Protection from DDOS

Unlike your project, we do not use 'Cloudflare', since our project is aimed at maximum anonymity, and we can not afford to transfer all traffic from our service to third parties. For this reason, we use proxy servers that are located in a large data center, which reliably protects its servers from attacks up to 1Tbit/s;

2. When using proxy servers, we do not disclose the real IP of the landing, so we additionally protect our project.

This is a very interesting topic for discussion.
The article says that they want to fight money laundering.
But, as we know, crypto currencies in most countries are not recognized as money (yet).
Naturally, state authorities want to control everything, and crypto-currencies for them, like a red rag for a bull.
Let's be honest, the word anonymity for government agencies is already a crime.
My opinion - this confrontation will never end. Many people tend to be anonymous in the crypto community and this is their right!
Answering the main question I will say NO. All users should not sacrifice their anonymity for criminals.

- How did you start ?

If to say very briefly, the work on BestMixer.io project started after the sudden closure Bitmixer.io.

We decided that there was a free niche in the market and we could take it.

Then we started analyzing the market. After some tests, we realised the mixing model chosen by Bitmixer.io, contained a critical vulnerability in the logic of the operation. And most importantly, all Bitmixer’s competitors copied this vulnerability. We have already described in detail found vulnerabilities here, here and here.

The vulnerability has shown us the market needs a new product that will be truly 100% anonymous, safe and protect the interests of its customers. This is how BestMixer.io has appeared.

In first, we have applied the following features that we have not seen before in any similar projects:

• CAE (Coin Anonymization Event)-check feature, which worked, as stated, as long as other mixers have fixed their vulnerability. It should be underlined that the mixers took about a month to react to the changed situation when information about the lack of anonymity in their projects became public. The operating principle of CAE (Coin Anonymization Event)-check is explained here.
• transfer delay to minutes, a very important parameter that is still not applied everywhere;
• Mixing Strength Meter, prompting the novice proper settings to enhance the anonymization of coins;
• in first, we have implemented the use of several reserves for mixing: Alpha, Beta and Gamma. Information on each of them can be found in the FAQ section on our website;
• in first, we introduced a concept of a floating miners’ fee, and we explained why any fixed miners’ fee is extremely bad for the anonymity of the mixing procedure. Until now, many mixers do not pay enough attention to this;
• our service charges the lowest service fee considering the possible discount;
• other features sometimes can be found to in some competitive projects, such as support for multiple cryptocurrencies, multi-language, transaction calculator.
