The more I look at this site the more I like it.  Add me to the list of people who would like to be able to close or minimize the boxes to make the layout more clean and maybe less laggy.  However, I think your site is the only dice site that lets people invest litecoins.  That could be a real advantage over the other sites - if you have not already you should post in the litecoin talk forums.  Also having in game transfers between players is a nice feature.  Good Luck!

looks like a cool site.  biggest problem I have for now is just any reason to switch from to here from Douglas' site where I'm pretty confident he's not running away.  Really like what you've done with it though.  Wish I could be part of the background.

We had our first whale at dicenow.com

User 1177 deposited 15 LTC, and managed to gamble up a profit of +25 to 40 LTC.
Then he lost all his gains with a failed 1,2,4,4 martingale follow by more losses.
He switched to a lower house edge and managed to gain another +15 LTC before
losing it all along with his initial deposit.
Exciting stuff!

How about getting in the WoT?
Well he could have wasted time getting rep there. Instead he built a quite remarkable service, where he can proof his reliability.

There is no "instead".

You may want to make more clear in your first post or in the site faq or in the investing boxes that the minimum investment is .1 btc.  I was hoping to get started with less than that and was foiled.

I like the site, however horrible UX. Mismatched icons everywhere, button hitareas should never change in size, and the NSFW backgrounds (especially how it's featured prominently in advertising) turned me off.

I've gone through a bit of chat with the site admin. He is for sure a guy who really work unlike some others just build something and leave 'em all to the community to resolve.

......
the whole ui is going to be rewritten. i'm not really happy with it
marketing i will do once i have a bankroll that players can play with.
.....
Interface is marginal, a bit laggy too but thats what we can do  now is wait for him to get a nice update in the near future.

Also I've discovered that poetis could speaktype fluent Chinese and he is also planning on  doing some campaign towards the Chinese user.

As most JustDice user might know that clone dice from JD, named BTC-DICE. The owner identity is not shown, even to 796 where they issue their "stocks".
Quote
https://796.com/bd
Risk factor:
............
2. The holders of BTC-DICE.com offer the relevant equity formation information unilaterally, of which 796 Exchange isn’t making any legal check, nor does it guarantee its authenticity.
............
4. The holders of BTC-DICE.com don’t offer any legal certificates or instruments.
5. The issuer of BTC-DICE-796 doesn’t offer their address, phone number or any other information no other than email address: btcdice2013@gmail.com.

While they still get a stable userbase with about 50,000BTC wagered per week. With more than just a copy of something, I think DiceNow could potentially grab userbase in China.

PS: just the same from Just Dice, BTC-DICE users are eager for bunches of bots etc. Plus they got plenty of bugs..

No doubt that trust and the knowledge base toward Bitcoin is a big issue we have to consider. But comparing to the case of BTC-DICE, DiceNow might be more favourable to that BTC-DICE (BUG-DICE CopycatDice whatever) as they do pay some effort on it and they do innovate.

Oh and see when and what is the last update of JustDice! Changed the max profit and turned the deposit button to red when balance is 0..... And the advert things seems havent come true yet, neglecting the exchange ad to Bitbet.us

Good luck

Very very good for a beginning.

However :
* Animations(*) are a bit annoying, perhaps you could allow to activate/inactivate them or change them.
* It is a great idea to put some NSFW background but not for everyone, you should allow people to activate/inactivate them AND inactivate them by default.

EDIT : (*)By Animations I mean the icons that turn round when you mouse-over it.

Thx for the tip, that's for the background but it doesn't stop the icons animation.

actually the bankrolls are cumulative, so you can't just add them up
it is roughly equal to the 3% house, so right now around 12 btc and 1700 ltc

added a simple mode for that classic no frills gray look. no bg slideshow, no realtime chart

also slideshow is now off by default, and the bg bar at the bottom has been minimized for a cleaner look, but retains the same functionality if you wish to use it

Good to have the choice of a simple UI, here's the posts so far made on the Just-Dice invest thread about dicenow btw:

Looks like a new dice competitor with a slick design is now offering investors 1%, 2% or 3% house edge. Combined with leveraged investment with a kelly ranging from 0.25 to 10x.

Can we please get a custom kelly at least?  Being able to use leverage would reduce counterpart risk for investors, and would reduce the site owner from being a target of extortion/ransom/violence.

What's really amazing is that if you look at the number of bets and the amounts bet the 3% pool has a considerable amount of action.  I would not have thought this possible as it seems illogical why anyone would choose to shoot against a 3% house advantage rather than a 1% are higher limits really that attractive?

Dooglus, I know you keep an eye on the competition, but checking this out may be a worthy use of your time, there may be more of an opportunity for a higher house edge on JD than I would have thought.

Yep, plenty of innovation from DN, doog any plans for JD to copy implement some of these features? Not talking about the anime backgrounds & UI animation btw.

Re ppl choosing 3% HE over 1% HE, there is a higher bank roll available to play for on the 2% & 3% HE so it may be that, especially on the first day or two - now there's more investment spread out over the 3 options, or maybe ppl were doing Martis which took them in to the higher HE range for larger bets after a few losses playing on lower HE %.

I played at 3% HE right at the beginning as there wasn't much investment in then & max profit was like 1 ltc or something at 1% HE, now it's about 10 ltc at 1% HE & 100 ltc at 3% HE.

As neat as that site is, it boggles me that a 1-3% slider exists. A smart investor would just put money in the 1% because it gets far more play then 3%. regardless of the odds an investor gets a lot more investing 1 BTC in 1% with 1000 rolls than 1 BTC in 3% with 100 rolls. Not to mention JDs bank is significantly more than this site's. Unless a user wants to win thousands of BTC, why bother? especially since 99.99% of bets will be able to be covered by the usual 1%, it's a bad bet for investors anyway.

The BTC 3% has had 10.82 btc wagered so far, whereas the BTC 1% has had 0.68 btc wagered so far, therefor the 3% is actually getting far more play in money terms than the 1% atm.

With LTC it's about 1000 ltc wagered on 1% versus 500 ltc approx on 3%.

https://dicenow.com/#filter=.sitestats

If ppl wish to invest &/or bet in LTC it looks a good place for that & also the action for 3% HE BTC has brought investors by far the best return currently. They also have a simple UI option now instead of the anime.
