I agree unequivocally that with the new system of merit of this form will be cleared by many spammers.
Today I saw that one of the participants of the forum proposes to introduce a new rule and restrict people who can wear a signature. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3122415.msg32278787#msg32278787
But in the Russian-speaking branch, few people share their merits for a good post. Now there is a flourishing sale of merits, is 5-7 dollars for one.

I just want to say that merit is a business from which many people earn who have many multi-accounts.
I want to say that with the new rules it's really hard to increase in rank your account. Merit began to buy and sell and people who write good posts are not rewarded in any way. Perhaps the moderators will come up with new rules

Stop stating bullshit, i.e. complaining about merit in this way. Whilst I wouldn't be lenient with these people as theymos is, their merit supply will eventually converge to zero. That is undeniable.

Can you reply with the few links to posts as examples? No, you see, people aren't used to merit, it's a brand new feature and it takes time for people to remember that they can merit, especially lower ranks. Also, many users here are used to activity system as well.

So then make a new account and look to buy merit, when you find them make a deal, screenshot and make a thread about them. Not needed.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

There's no problem with that if they want to abuse merit system in that way dont mind them their risking their own account soon they will be caught and will get a negative trust, or if you want try to haunt them and report them to admins and if you dont want to help the community by getting them caught you can help the community by posting high quality and useful contents and stop complaining about merit, it's non sense.

Before merit system is implemented I am sure that theymos and other admins already expected that this situation will happen so that for you to help the community you can stop crying about this shit's and start hunting them and then report them. Easy right? you can never help the community if you will not stop complaining about the system, there is always a choice for an individual if you dont like the rules why are you staying and keep on complaining.

If you are not seeing people getting merit, then i guess you are not roaming the entire forum i guess. There have been a lot of merit given to high quality posts. And please, it is not even 2 months since merit comes.

If you see this kind of buying and selling activity, i guess you need to contact your moderator and ask him to help you to appeal this kind of problem to other moderator or even admin. Because not all moderator can read and speak in russian, but i guess your local moderator can talk russian and explain it to other moderators.
