This news broke a few days ago and during that time I think somehow it also affected the price. I do not think it has something to do with money laundering as google says their are trying to prevent advertisements because of scams ICO which I think  their users best interest.

Also with youtube banning advertisements it does not mean you can not watch anything crypto related. They will not ban the crypto groups nor the self proclaimed crypto experts.

This is just a minor setback and this type of regulation from giant companies can be expected since Crypto currency is getting more popular each day.

Considering what you've said, I think you should check out the articles too. As of now, Google haven't ban cryptocurrency related ads . The announced new policy will be in effect this coming June 2018 and looks like it's a final decision. Why on June and not today? I have a guess that they still need to grant and wait for the end of contract for these type of ads (cryptocurrency , gambling-related - skin betting and more) or maybe, simply because the policies aren't very clear/smooth yet.

People don't panic because of the news but because the price gets affected with the news. That is,  if it won't affect the price, people won't have business with the fud.

One thing I think about the reason for news on icos affecting bitcoin is that hodlers of bitcoin don't really understand the difference between bitcoin and ico.

I don't see any possibility of money laundering through crypto advertisements. I mean what makes you think that crypto ads can get your money laundered! The crypto advert is meant for publishing different project ideas amongst the targeted people who are interested in spending money into these projects. These projects are mostly related to the different utility tokens, automobile industry or even healthcare projects etc. If you think that by any means this is money laundering then I dont think you have understood the concept completely. Both are different things in first place.

It looks like the tweeters will start doing it as has been done its relation google and facebook. I don't think there is a heavy influence from what they have done because ordinary people will respond as FUD. Bitcoin will remain outstanding as usual because most people especially bitcoin users already know the existence of the news.

To be honest nothing else will be left to ban, you'd be surprised on how this news on Facebook and Google will re-circulate on our desktop monitors and they'll adding some "new info" or "clarifications" about their news. I have seen the Facebook Ban news in as early as January and now it keep re-surfacing and re-surfacing saying that FB will lift the ban and vice versa. This you will know that this so-called News creators are only creating fake news just to have headlines in order for their traffic to keep flowing in their website which they don't really care about the bad effect they are doing in spreading negative and fake news.

I'm considering that why they have to wait until this June to totally ban Crypto and ICO ads? If they really want to do it they can do it right now, maybe they're planning to do something maybe they only remove ads of scam project only . I hope so . As both facebook and google have banned the advertisements related to the Cryptocurrency market so that Innocent People don't get scams. They are just taking some preventive measure for their users so that they do not end up with any kind of scams or fraudulent activities. It's not going to be good for the cryptomarket because google and facebook are the top two websites where Marketing and sales are done on a high scale basis and banning there may affect the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for sure.

Yes it could be banning the ads will impact on the decline in BTC prices because investors usually get information about the bitcoin world of google, but good they ban ads on facebook and google is to prevent the theft of crypto currency and provide more security is very tight...

we have to forget these news because they only create an unnecessary panic... I have not seen the statistics that show how many scam ICOs are released on facebook and google for them to make such a decision, or do they want to pull the bag from banks and governments to have a good image? Well obviously i don't think that this will affect bitcoin in particularity, all the ads that face book and google have banned, are ads for ICO and tokens, they haven't banned bitcoin ads because they don't exist, up until now bitcoin made it  all the way to 10k without relaying too much about advertisement, in my opinion this actually might boost the bitcoin prices and investments, because as i said all the banned ads are related to ICO, and they are the reason why we are not seeing usual investments into bitcoin, and with them gone all the money will go into the bitcoin market.

In my point of view, this is definitely bad for bitcoin or any cryptocurrency. Facebook and Google are one of the most searched websites, meaning many people across the globe see what is in there. Since crypto related advertisements are now banned on those sites, therefore, many people can no longer see such ads that may probably result to huge reduction on ICO's sales. But ICO developers are not the only one who are affected in this news, even the whole crypto community does. Very sad to know that we lost a medium to bridged the gap between crypto knowledge and people.
