I am cautious about the projects of Russian developers, conduct a more in-depth study. I try to participate in their projects less.

I think this topic discusses an incorrect question. The organizers of ICO are first of all a team pursuing a certain goal. The objectives of the team may be different: make a cool project or raise money and run away. All this depends on specific people, and not on the country where they are.

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?
I think we should look not at the country of origin of the ICO, but on the team, the roadmap and the advisers who work with the project. This is relevant information, yes, it takes a lot of effort than just looking at the country, but also more information and understanding whether it is worth investing in the considered ICO.

A huge number of scammers, very weak support of the yurists. Most often these are one-day firms that duplicate other people's projects and try to grab money and hide in remote Siberia. I try to pass by such projects, and I advise you to think many times than to give money to such projects, you may suffer.

Russians unfortunately do not like to develop a serious and large-scale business. Mainly HYIP or fraud. Mentality in Russia because of the regime is very meager. You can find good projects for yourself, but in percentage terms the chance to get on a good project is several times less than from other countries.

Actually there are somevery legit russian icos out there working on final products. Yes they are sadly known with their frauds but it doesn't mean everyone try to scam others. This is my personal opinion.

There are many Russian projects, and many of the users are suspicious of them. So many experts believe, but I heard news that Russia is developing rules for ICO projects that protect both investors and the projects themselves from scammers. Maybe, after that the situation will change.

I have to notice that we'd have no any ICOs without Russian creator of Ethereum. And there are frauds and scams projects from any country.

I always skip russian ICOs because they have poor perfomance price statistics after ICO (often they just collect our money and don't do anything).

If you are looking at different Russian ICOs, have a look at the following: https://bubbletone.ioThey have a great idea, a perfect team, the working beta-version was shown in Barcelona in February this year.

Everytime I check the project teams and see Russian members, I try to avoid participating either in bounty programs or ICOs. The main reason for this is my personal experience and the reports of famous Russian crypto traders...

There is a very big danger that many of the projects created by Russian engineers will be doomed to failure. We are not talking about Vitalik, because he is Canadian. We are talking about other Russian projects

I think that the project of Pavel Durov just can't fail. I'm ready to invest big money in this project. This is a very serious man who will fulfill his obligations 100%. I don't have confidence in other projects created by the russians because of scams, but TON is legit by nature

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?
I like some projects of Russian developers. I recently invested some money in the ICO Arcona. I would very much like to see this project reach a high level of development. Let's see what happens. Anyway I chose also BeEasy, you can see it in my signature! Developers from Russia. In my opinion good project.

My view that success of ICO does not depend from nationality of founders. I know good examples of sucessfull Russian ICOs - for example WAVES, WINGS, KICKICO, etc. I think your should to assess another factors than ICO's nationality.

Russian ICOs discredited themselves, but there are successful projects among them. For example, Credits, which grew 3 times and hit the top-130 after ICOs. From the current ICOs, I recommend Vestarin. The project has great prospects to become the best marketplace for blockchain, so I would recommend investing in this ICO.
