Most of the time, I was rejected the Russian project.
Because I have invested in several Russia ICO projects , they don't have list on a good exchange, and they generally fall below the issue price, so I am not optimistic. (STOX BANKEX)

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?
As for me, a bad idea ..
My personal experience :
Revizor - scam,
Giza device - scam,
Renberry-  he collected 30 lyams, he did not pay bounty...
FinTAb - 3 months can not be listed on a normal exchange (but for me it is one of the most successful projects)
At the moment I have high hopes for the Russian project - allabout.me

Don't lose hope everyone. Even after hitting the exchange, whatever ICO it may be, we are in a bear market so expect most if not all coins to follow the lead of Bitcoin going a downtrend.

What a sad story i hope you can earn in some of you investments. Anyway why dont you try in other campaign ICO like german and amerecan or in europe countrys ICO tokens and much better if you check nicely about the background of the team and the use of there platform.

bitcoinichip thanks you for you link!)) It is very interesting.

Yes, you are right! There are a lot of scums from Russian and, especially Ukraine.
But mb there are some brilliants?
Why I am interested in only in russian - the is a very dangerous foreign situation, so Britain or USA can take away my funds

Before to invest in any ICO the best you can do is to do you own investigation over the internet, is not matter where ICO is coming from but better to invastigate first

I don't think its safer to invest in Russian ICOs as the government can ban the cryptocurrency markets any time. And you wouldn't be able to do anything but lose your investment. Also you might want to check on your country laws as it might be illegal to invest in Russian ICOs due to sanctions against them.

There are dozens of icos from Russia, some are good some are bad, i participated in cartaxi ico, they are not performing according to the expectations uptil now, i hope they will come up with profitable business soon by expanding, investors are not happy with their performance at the moment, i hope they will do better from next month.

Even though Russia is quite advanced in crypto field, with a number of well-known crypto celebrities and hackers, it's surprisingly disappointing that most of ICO there are not popular and token price is not high. Not sure if it is because of communication or culture differences from other countries. Even big project like Wave is not performing well in the market.

There are three important things you should control to invest in Russia:
1. Idea
2. Team (real people with rial social links)
3. Company (real company with real experience)

the best projects are in information technologies and nature subsoils (black and red granite, fuel, ecology)

Russian ICOs as other ICO, sometimes it faces to be a scam, sometimes they are really good. Only difference is that they are not as popular and wellknown as ICOs of other countries.

Guys, all that you have listed, you can tell about  all ICO, there is always a danger of scam, not just russian. If you are not satisfied with the token price  after the end of ICO you can look at the market and realize that is  general trend of cryptocurrencies. I like russian project Fintab, the team is strong and im sure they will do what promised.

Well, Russia, like China, is rather restrictive in some fields. However, Russia seems to be a little bit more open when it comes to crypto and is not banning/closing anything at the moment. China just closes exchanges when it sees fit. Both have great potential however.

Many of russian programmers joined european and american teams because russian people are kinda gifted, really, but in Russia there is almost no opportunity to realize their full potential, so they are trying themselves with other people in other places.
Thats why I prefer not to invest in russian ICOs. But imo ICO which is like collaboration of different people and they have russian in team and they are based not in ru, so this is great team as for me

I'm not very positive about Russian projects, but there are good projects that have made it possible to make money. For example: Credits, Waves, Cindcator. Therefore, as in the whole market, there are good projects, there are bad ones.

I don't think invest to Russia ico is a good idea, because most ico price were lower when listed on exchange. One more reason that we should not invest to Russia ico: their project is not in English, so that project is not be used by more people in the future.

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?
I do not want grab all Russian ICOs in one scam list but all ICOs I participated turned out to fail (Blackmoon, HOQU etc). Most of them just dropped right after being listed on exchanges, and indeed listing is the other problem for Russian projects, I do not know why.

i think indian ico is best you can try with www.bitcoinichip.com
I think ICOs are not secured platform it is risky investment so few of the potential project only survive in the crypto platform. But Indian ICOs are useless investment so don't compare to Russian ICO. Indian government is the top worst country in crypto market but Russia government is always supporting to cryptocurrency. So Russia is better than India.

Many, many ICO from USA, Canada, West Europe use popular themes Finance, Realty, some maining infrastructure, which I think not give some profit for investor, but just for owners ICO. I don't know clear russian ICO, but I know that international commands make fantastic projects. Best regards people!

You should extremely cautious with projects from Russia. first thing, as other members told here before, high amount of scam project. other thing ar lack of regulation for cryptocurrencies in Russia. It like wild, wild, west in there.

That's right I mean here not to accuse or suspect a project that comes from russian because many people say that many projects from russia end in deception but as much as possible we have to be careful in all projects because there are many projects that have potential fraud and so on . has been proven to happen

I think there are some good projects, but it's like for all the ICOs, you have to look for the right clues (team, backed by another firm etc).
I did translation work for eHealth First for example, and I think it is a solid one.

There are quite successful projects with Russian teams like TAAS, there are promising ones like the same FinTab, there are frankly fraudulent. To be honest, I'm bypassing projects with Russian legal entities.

Among the Russian projects there are successful projects, for example, the Cindicator.
But to be honest, when I look at the project and see members of the team from Russia in it, I become suspicious and study the project as carefully as possible.

I think around 80% of icos from russia are scam, you need to investigate and research them hard! Just check code in github and check all people, if they dont have any successful icos then skip.

There is no particular country that should be associated with scam or bad ICO we have scammers in virtually all over the world. It is just a coincidence to have such bad experience.

At the moment I have high hopes for the Russian project - allabout.me
Explain that you are trying again to contact the Russian ICO if you already have such a negative experience? Is there really not enough project on the market for you? or you're just a patriot? )

We are talking about teams and registration of a legal entity. For me, registration in the Russian jurisdiction is a red flag for investing in this ICO. Completely Russian team is an occasion to study more thoroughly the documents and reliability of the presented data.

Positive thinking. ICO is good not because where he came from, but who is managing. I think in Russia already have freedom in the use of cryptocurrency. So ICO in Russia will be successful.

Russian projects are always fraud!

yeh? just like eth? and yet we keep buying them to profit right?

come on, we all can see the team and their faces on youtube, if they were fraud you are always welcome to file a case to them. investing is taking a risk, you can't just cry and file case all because the investors before you dumped after hearing a news and hold.

I think this topic discusses an incorrect question. The organizers of ICO are first of all a team pursuing a certain goal. The objectives of the team may be different: make a cool project or raise money and run away. All this depends on specific people, and not on the country where they are.

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?
I think we should look not at the country of origin of the ICO, but on the team, the roadmap and the advisers who work with the project. This is relevant information, yes, it takes a lot of effort than just looking at the country, but also more information and understanding whether it is worth investing in the considered ICO.

A huge number of scammers, very weak support of the yurists. Most often these are one-day firms that duplicate other people's projects and try to grab money and hide in remote Siberia. I try to pass by such projects, and I advise you to think many times than to give money to such projects, you may suffer.

Russians unfortunately do not like to develop a serious and large-scale business. Mainly HYIP or fraud. Mentality in Russia because of the regime is very meager. You can find good projects for yourself, but in percentage terms the chance to get on a good project is several times less than from other countries.

There are many Russian projects, and many of the users are suspicious of them. So many experts believe, but I heard news that Russia is developing rules for ICO projects that protect both investors and the projects themselves from scammers. Maybe, after that the situation will change.

I think that the project of Pavel Durov just can't fail. I'm ready to invest big money in this project. This is a very serious man who will fulfill his obligations 100%. I don't have confidence in other projects created by the russians because of scams, but TON is legit by nature Wink

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?

I like some projects of Russian developers. I recently invested some money in the ICO Arcona. I would very much like to see this project reach a high level of development. Let's see what happens.

Anyway I chose also BeEasy, you can see it in my signature! Developers from Russia. In my opinion good project.

My view that success of ICO does not depend from nationality of founders. I know good examples of sucessfull Russian ICOs - for example WAVES, WINGS, KICKICO, etc.
I  think your should to assess another factors than ICO's nationality.

Russian ICOs discredited themselves, but there are successful projects among them. For example, Credits, which grew 3 times and hit the top-130 after ICOs. From the current ICOs, I recommend Vestarin. The project has great prospects to become the best marketplace for blockchain, so I would recommend investing in this ICO.

I have invest in a few ico and I do not think about the country that which country is it from as I often search for the potential of the project that how well Will it go and howuch active are the developers of that project if both of these are verified then there is no any fear that there will be any fear of scam. It do not depend on country but it depends on developers

It really does not matter the country of origin of an ico because scam icos can come out of anywhere really, it is the quality of the project and the quality of the coins that they are offering that matters in the long run when we look at it, we all want to make money, it does not matter where the origin is, as long as the ico ends up making us money

It is not necessary to judge the project by the country of its registration, just as stupid to judge a person by his nationality. In the Russian legislation there is a movement towards the regulation of the behavior of ICO and other issues related to cryptocurrencies. I think this will have a positive impact on the degree of responsibility of projects organizers and will stop speculation in the field of crypto-currencies.

In Russia there is as yet no legislative base for regulating crypto-currencies, so in my opinion, ICO in Russia is a big risk. However, now the world is tightening the rules of using crypts. Singapore, Hong Kong, Estonia, Great Britain and Gibraltar. These countries are actively developing the business environment for crypto-currency projects

And I'm afraid that Russia will also put a tougher regulations if not a outright ban on crypto. Because they still haven't proved anything yet. They said that they will established a mining farm in the beginning of the year but I don't know what happen to that plan.

And besides I haven't find any credibility in them because they always contract themselves. You will hear positive news and articles, but the next day, someone will also another statement totally in opposite of the first one. So everyone is really confuse about their intentions.

Dont you think that its really funny - Russia has really good and well-known specialists, but its ICOs have sad reputation because of large amount of scams.
Perhaps this is because russian highly-qualified professionals prefer to work in another ICOs.

It seems to me that more than 60 percent of all well-known ICOs consist russian team members. This country has to be proud of its specialists in IT sector and all of us know how make great projects were created by russians
Dont you think that its really funny - Russia has really good and well-known specialists, but its ICOs have sad reputation because of large amount of scams.
Perhaps this is because russian highly-qualified professionals prefer to work in another ICOs.

I think only ethereum and "waves?" were only well known in the cryptospace most of the time its about hacks and scam. Also due to Russia having a bad side against crypto most of the ICO's today in Russia are scam

We cannot indicate a country for ico scam. When there is successful ico from the particular country there will also be scams which is the universal truth. Another thing is the hacks, however high the security features were developed there happens hack which is mostly due to the irresponsible usage of wallets by the users.

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?

I do not see how ICOs is differ on a national basis. As far as I know in Russia the sphere of cryptocurrencies is not yet being regulated and this provides more opportunities for launching ICOs.

Good icos depend on good projects, tech, team, vision etc, nationalities or countries should not be the determining factor for investment.

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?

I think that Russian projects are not worse than any from Europe, USA and Asia. On my mind it is necessary to apply standard requirements during the project verification. There is no difference in process of control terms implementation.

Recently there are good projects, but they are few. In the overall percentage, ICO data is still an unfavorable choice, both for investment and for bounty. But exceptions already began to appear. I hope soon there will be more good projects than bad ones.

I have no luck with ico from Russia or the former USSR. Many of them are scam. i will avoid this ico in the future. even if they are good i will not invest any money. people should look for the scam ico people and then judge them. but nobody cares about that.

I do not believe in the Russian ICO, they have a very sad reputation.

I have the same feeling although some of the bounty managers I've worked with are reliable and competent, this is the reason why there are few Ico from Russia now but I believe one Ico will come out from Russia, they have a good array of coders and developers.

I personally think that as long as the good ICO project in the market will definitely get the support of investors, but there are not many really good ICO projects, and some ICO project scams seriously hurt the confidence of investors and they are afraid to invest in ICO. The key question is whether the ICO project itself is true or not, is it worth investing, not looking at which country the ICO project comes from?

Sad to say but true, almost all of the ICOs are scam even if it is from Russia or not. It is very hard nowadays to spot a legitimate ICOs which have a working product.

This is a good topic. Because I was to ask from someone about what they think about the projects from Russia. I have not invested on any ICO. But I did a bounty campaign and still I have no idea what will happen to that project.

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?

I dont mind Russian ICOs even though Elementh seem to be out of their depth with regards to ICO. Seems they want to wait for their native coin Roll Eyes. As if exchange listings are getting easier with waiting. My biggest losses are all related to US based ICO so I have turned a lot more sceptical in that direction. There is quite a few it seems who like the ICO money but are not that interested in the blockchain space. Some well raised in the middle of the bear market like neo based narrative or Bridge Protocol who are substantilly below ICO price but I still hold some hope that they will deliver. Same in a way for datawallet. Vezt looks pretty much like a cash grab. EVC I am actually more bullish or Kairos.

Very badly, most Russian ICOs turn out to be scams. Maybe it's not because we have all the scammers, but then because everyone just wants to enrich themselves on this topic, they're trying to create a blockchaine and holding an ICO, without thinking that it takes serious skills at least.

Before to invest in any ICO the best you can do is to do you own investigation over the internet, is not matter where ICO is coming from but better to invastigate first

problem is that many people do not know the methods of rational evaluation of data and learn from their own mistakes Smiley

There are dozens of icos from Russia, some are good some are bad, i participated in cartaxi ico, they are not performing according to the expectations uptil now, i hope they will come up with profitable business soon by expanding, investors are not happy with their performance at the moment, i hope they will do better from next month.

and is car-taxi better now or is the project dead ? you have invested or not ? is the project still alive and are there already good taxis ?

Russia is one of the world's driving economies in data and correspondence technology. good ICO venture in the market will get the help of financial specialists, yet there are relatively few great ICO tasks, and some ICO venture tricks truly hurt the certainty of speculators and they are reluctant to put resources into ICO.In the Russian enactment, there is a development towards the control of the conduct of ICO and different issues identified with digital currencies. I think this will positively affect the level of duty of activities coordinators and will stop hypothesis in the field of crypto market.

Nothing! I don't even want to know which countries an ICO is coming from as long as it's a great project and not government/anti Crypto sponsored ICO.
Questions like this shouldn't even exist in Crypto World. Left for me  it would be removed and op punished a little. It adds no value to the Crypto World.
It is like asking whether it is OK to send Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency to Russian address.

The Russian ICO has a small popularity, but you can meet worthy projects, the danger of cheating applies to all projects, any project can slip and simply do not pay investors and participants of the bounty.

As I remember there're few good Russian projects. The most popular one is Waves, others are Deex, Winstars which aren't well-known, but they're real projects not a scam. I could hardly find 5-7 projects, that's all! The same situation is with African and Indian startups which tends to cheat and not to work!

In fact, no matter where the ICO project comes from, it is the same. We can't judge the quality of ICO according to the geographical location. So from Russia, or from the United States, from Japan, China or other countries, it has nothing to do with it.

about 2 months ago I joined the TWN (the world news) project, maybe you have seen it they are from Russia project.
and what happened? until now I didn't see them working complete the roadmap.

but maybe not all Russian projects are like that , i wish that lol

Now it is generally difficult to find a promising project going to ICO. July 2018 became the first months of the collection and ICO fell to a minimum, compared with the first half of 2018 and 2017. And the worthwhile projects that are based in Russia can be cross-checked on the fingers of one hand. At this time, I prefer to avoid them.

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?
For me I don’t think it matters where the project is coming from, the most important is if it’s a scam or a legit business. If it’s legit I can invest in it without minding the country that owns it, all I care about is the profit that comes at the end. So what you have to do is check the ICO and carry out some research on it to know more about it before you talk of investing. Why I’m saying you should research about it is because majority of the ICOs today are scam.

I think that if you invest in such an ICO, you have to understand the GDP of this country. If it is a benign economy then the risk will be small. If the economy is in recession then your risk of investing in ICO will be even greater.

Investing in Russian ico is a very bad idea. Even investors from icodrops do not consider russian ico. This is a very risky investment. Russians want to make money on the wave of the blockchain hyip. Better choose Asian or American ico.

Unfortunately it's true. In most cases, Russian ICO pursue one goal - to collect as much money as possible, and little time is spent on developing a project or marketing. And even if the project will not be scam, there will be no rapid start

*At the moment I have high hopes for the Russian project - allabout.me*

If you know a lot of SCAM ICOs from Russia, why do you have to take the ICO again?
Do you want to step on the same hole and fall into the SCAM gap?

To be honest, I am a Russian person and I love my country, but I can leave negative feedback about ICO projects. I can not say that all projects from Russia are bad, but 70% for sure. I like foreign projects much more !

With this, I personally had problems, many of them can not even reach the level that promises, and projects like that are developing very slowly, although there are a couple of those who normally move forward, but most are a failure.

In Russia there are intelligent people who can create a useful product, but these people leave the country consciously. Mentality does not allow them to use the funds they collect for project development.

The ICO is something that people are most afraid of and often it only brings fraud to investors, but of course there are some good projects that I know like Ubcoin. They were a real project before the crypto exploded last year

There are many successfull crypto-projects in russia. Some of them:
Waves
Sonm
Genesis vision
Revain

Technology is more important to me, i'm realist. But it must be noted if project haven't made 10x-100x that doesn't meant it's a scam.

I analyze the state of the crypto market and see that Russia is developing very rapidly with respect to crypto. This is confirmed by the fact that Russia holds the second place in the world in terms of trading bitcoin, only yielding to the United States. Therefore, ICO is developing in Russia in a civilized and active way. We need to pay attention to projects from Russia.

I would not advise anybody to invest projects in the Russian ico. As a rule all of them fraudulent and you from them do not get any profit.
