How long will this bear market continue?

It is really unpredictable , we don't know how long this market will stay on this situation. My advice just keep on holding and wait until this market risen again .

Even the bear market keep continuing until now, it has been 9 months already.
Maybe bull market wont appear in this year if the market stay like this.
But we dont know the future, everything still can be happening in cryptocurrency world.

I had hoped that the ETF would be approved on September 30 but it was postponed until the end of this year. So I do not think there will be a bull market in this year

Until the end of this year, And in 2020, expect a rise of coins as new year starts and a flowing of new and potentially great altcoins in the future. I think its all part of a cycle that the market must go through bearish part and then proceeds to bull runnig

Ya many people are regret cause they not sell all of them asset in that moment, but you must let it go. Its trading, the market is not yours, you can speculate or predict but who knows what happen next.
Regarding the bearish market, I think BTC on the testing area for break the line to change the trend.

It will takes time to recover from this bloodbath market. until bitcoin are bull again we all will see a huge impact on other altcoins also. Bitcoin are the main factor in cryptos for other to hit bull also so hope bitcoin will bounce up again in the end of this year.

I still hodl my coins. I'm waiting for new bullrun, which will probably happen after ETF is approved and BTC halving is done. Whenever they're done, we should moon. (if something terrible doesn't happen)

This situation is really a puzzle. What is worrisome is that the market have been like this for months now. I personally think that government (Chinese) action on cryptocurrencies  in recent times may be seriously affecting the cryptocurrency industry. The movement of an old wallet as observed by someone on  Reddit might also be a factor. Generally, I am yet to know of any prediction regarding when this bear market will stop.

It is important to understand that the market and the bitcoin market price is manipulated and held through bots on the Bitfinex exchange, so it’s hard to say when it will all end, because it’s not natural price regulation processes that solve this issue.

For me, based on the history chart, it takes about 2-3 years to recover to the rally.

I sold my investments long ago, at the beginning of the market decline. now I'm waiting for the market to start growing to invest in altcoins
