When your computer sits "idle" (because you're mining) instead of gaming all day like before, and you can hang out with your wife more, she wonders who this person is and where'd he put her husband? Smiley

LOL, sounds like my gf wondering why I don't seem to be playing games much lately Cheesy

51. You can tell the number of graphics cards crunching by feeling the room temperature

52. You stop playing WoW because: a) they don't accept Bitcoins as a payment b) you need to lower the settings on your miner for playing c) you need the time for real mining instead of WoW mining

53. You can tell the load of your rig by touching

54. You desperately await winter

59. When you install svn, python, pyoncl, zope.interface, twisted, numpy, pytools just to run the latest revision of phoenix + latest phatk kernel JUST to make sure that it's not faster than diablominer, cgminer, poclbm, or diapolo's modified phatk with phoenix that you already tried

When you're visiting family/friends and you wonder how many free PCI-E slots they have...
...or, better yet, if they happen to be using an OpenCL-compatible video card!

You know you're a bitcoin miner when...

  • The guy on the Harley asks you to turn down the noise cause he can't hear his bike..
  • Your best bet to pay the electricity bill is making it flip past 999999.9KWh
  • Your water-cooled masterpiece provides central heating for half the neighborhood
  • Thom Beers wants you to  star in "COINZ" the reality docu-soap
  • The exchange rate on mtgox must go up by atleast $5 by afternoon or 'Big Louie' will break your legs for failing to pay off the loan on your rigs

i think that's all i got for now  Grin

...you mine for bitcoins?
so I guess that even includes CPU mining? meh, that's not a real miner
I guess even fakeminer counts by your definition, it's a little slower than CPU mining, but it doesn't use any computer resources

When you run all your rigs using a dedicated facility, not at home.  Grin

How about when you ran out of space at your first facility (not your home) so you had to find a second facility. lol
