Considering he once lost over 100 Bitcoin on Just-Dice without breaking a sweat I reckon he is holding much more than 1000 Bitcoin. Easily. Three bets of 87 i think. Also its known i hold a casasicuis 1000 gold coin so there is that. But other than that not much. Maybe 1337 total or so. Just kidding i troll.... cant help myself. Well i still remember when you gave me 1 BTC thanks for that man ill never forget Im holding over 21 BTC Given 3 BTC to charity

I hate thinking about how many bitcoins i used to have.
i sold something for just over 500 bitcoins ($4500 @ $9 per bitcoin) a long time ago. (the product was only worth about $1500 to me, so it was more like i got the bitcoins @ $3)
Since then, i have been selling low and buying high ever since (also lost at least 50 bitcoins on gambling sites too). It seems I am one of the complete sheep of the bitcoin market. i have been making EVERY wrong decision at the worst possible point, every time!!!
for example, the last mistake i made was on the 3rd of Oct. i still had 303 bitcoins (after some previous stupid decisions), when i read the news about dpr getting caught i thought i was being really clever selling out at just over $105 per coin, the price then continued to drop to maybe $90 on bitstamp, then started rising.
In hindsight i should have bought back in there when the price bottomed out, but instead because i thought it would continue to fall when more people heard the news i told myself I'd wait a bit longer ... but instead i watched the price rise, and rise, and rise.. I ended up buying back in somewhere around $140. It took me from 303 bitcoins down to 209 bitcoins...
so now i stand with 209 bitcoins. that's nearly a 60% loss from what i originally bought.
If i had just put these bitcoins in an offline wallet and forgot about them i would have been much much better off, if i had just not watched the bitcoin price daily over the past year, I could have potentially had an extra $55,000 at today's price...
lol
so now i think i'm not going to trade them again, EVER.. I think 209 bitcoins will do me when they are worth several thousand each...
i try to look on the bright side, total investment made was $1500 + the time and effort closing the sale, and today I could sell them for $42,000.
i can't really complain, but i get called an idiot every time i explain how i lost so many coins, so please don't hold back, i'm used to it!!! lol
According to this post with around 200 coins you are one of the top 1500 holders of BTC so that is still great!!! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=316297.msg3401718#msg3401718I agree that the wise thing to do for you and for all of us really, is to just buy and hold from this point on. It is so tempting to try to trade and take advantage of the ups and downs but unfortunately it is really hard to know what the market is going to do.

I just noticed my "wallets" fluctuate between 5 to 60. Then I realized, uh, those are not my coins. But I am holding them. After all, I've got a few stuff going on, escrows, group buys, games, donations, etc.

Thanks for all the honest replies.. i love seeing people's real intentions.
another question popped in my head. I'm thinking about why i became enthusiastic about bitcoin.. when first i heard about bitcoin it seems to me a good idea.. but i didn't think about it much i read more and more intresting stuff about bitcoin and started to understand it.. but the real obsession started right after i purchased some at the price 125.. when watching the price holding there and going down.. i didn't give much attention about it but when it started to climb and now 180$+- i started to get my hopes high. and the real question here is maybe all these people enthusiastic about them because they hold them and dream about getting rich? this about the normal person why should he buy and use it?

1. Yes, I believe that unfortunately many people here only care about bitcoins because they got some at some point and hope to get rich with them. 2. To save money. I work and live in different countries and I spend my time in three of them.. I don't even want to think about how much money I have spent and still I spend to hold my bank accounts, to send money here and there, credit cards' commissions, extra fees that some airlines take if you pay by credit cards, etc. Life for me would be much easier and cheaper if I could do those things (and many other) exclusively in bitcoins... We just need a critical mass of users in my opinion and then things will evolve faster and faster

I keep only 60 or so on my wallet. Everything I earn I just sell and withdraw cash. I use that 60 to play the market and earn coins that way.

man, you guys are rich im nothing, i wish i have 1 BTC but currently i only have 0.025 from those faucets just knew bitcoin from august Most likely this big holders are early adopters. Oh and do yourself a favor, use your time more wisely and ditch the faucets. Taking that 0.025 you have and investing in securities then buying low selling high will make you more BTC then faucets. The discussion has been had but its more profitable to work at mcdonalds then do faucets. Since the shut down of btct.co i have a bad taste in my mouth for BTC securities. Check out https://cex.io/r/0/mobile314/0/ (yes that's my referral link, no im not trying to get rich off of it or spam) purchase 0.025 worth of GH's and reap that Hashing power mining income for you hourly by doing nothing. No captchas, no faucet timers bull. Or profit more by buying those GH's low and selling high while collecting mining income. And there was my rant Cheers...

Last I calculated ROI on CEX.io was ~2 months for 1 GHs. And that's without difficulty increases. Trading could be a different story.

Well here's the thing - unless you actually spend your coins, you have gained nothing in reality from them.
Think about it: you acquire 10,000 coins. Then die with 10,000 coins in your wallet. Brilliant!
So even if you bought at $10 and sold them at $20, hey you've done very well and have actually done more with your bitcoins than most people I know.
