Altcoins ( or let's say cryptocurrencies in general ) are hypersensitive to any crypto related news ( and even rumors which really affect the whole market )

If I were you I would invest in both BTC & LTC because the first one is the strongest coin ( that can resist ) and the second has a great potential ( it's said it will be the 1st transactions coin )

Not sure about which coin can survive the negative news but it looks like crypto is not having immune to the negative news and rumor. Recent ban from google and unconfirmed rumor ban from twitter give a lot of panic sell that makes the dump after mtgox trustee was even worst. But still, hold my amount whatever where they will go. Just try to sell them at the top if i can and then keep calm when the crypto will down. Bitcoin looks good right now.

lot of news are influencing price. even fake news can couse FUD. If everyone would inspect all the information on internet and filter out all the fake - price would be more stable

I also feel that in the present situation, investing BTC may be a better choice.

The alternative coins price always followed bitcoin's price, so basically the negative news of alternative coins it related with negative news of bitcoin because bitcoin is first digital coin in the world. Well if your investment goes to this situation try to hold it be patients. altcoins have a cycle of increasing and decreasing because of the volatility of the cryptocurrencies. But if your not invest you money yet. try to research give your self a knowledge about the situation like looking at the price chart, if theres an issue on that coin and also if  the coin has a potential to avoid problems at your trading.

Yes it can affect the crypto market FUDs and negative news is very influential in this field of market. FUDS and bad news about altcoin is sometimes a great strategy of some big investors. They spread that FUDS to create negative thoughts about certain altcoins that they’re planning to invest and make it price go down, but these cases are few. I advice that search for an altcoin that has a good roadmap and good project and future plans, in this case even it will go red butit will surely  come up again and give you profit.

But mostly it is quite looking like that Bitcoin is sustaining and carrying all these FUDs when it comes to falls or crashes. "Bitcoin banned in *insert country*", except of course for bans like crypto ads in social media where every coins are affected by that but I still don't see it getting worked out so soon. Altcoins were like the middle to last to get the reaction out of these FUDs, as it most or bit half of all the altcoins goes in the same red status when Bitcoin does.

I think negative news has more impact on BTC and Eth compared to the Alts. But, every time the price of Eth or BTC falls, Alts begin to shed their price as well. It seems to me that you should look at the statistics of how dumps are basically starting out. Basically this is false news, but the problem is that when everybody finds out that the news was untrue, it does not save the market.
