Okay, so I only looked over the other threads related to this for 5 minutes, but this looks like it might be just a misunderstanding? Let me know if any of these facts are wrong.
After dedicating a similar amount of time to the entire issue it does seem like it indeed a misunderstanding between the duo which got escalated due to the fact they usually are at odds and thought this was a newer "attack" (due to the lack of a better word at the moment that I could think of) from the other party.
Owl and OG both don't use telegram.
Random guy gets scammed by fake OG.
Fake OG refers random guy to owl.
Owl posts in OG's thread about the scam, since he thinks silver was referred by the actual OG.
OG flips at owl because he knows nothing about this whole telegram thing and thinks owl is making shit up.
From the screenshots I think owlcatz
does use telegram since he mentions that he's being haressed over telegram by victims of the OG Nasty impersonator. So that first point in bold may or may not be bold
I highly doubt this OGNasty scam account is controlled by either OG or owl, can we all agree that OGNasty's account would be a pretty common target for scammers to impersonate because of his trust status on here?
Pretty much, this is what seems to be the most likely case, especially after seeing those countless threads where people like Monbux, Lauda, etc were all impersonated due to the trust they have in the forum as escrows. It would be strange if OG
didn't have impersonators.
