Yes after fork at block 120 0000. POS reward wil bel 50% interest per year (5x increase from now)
Btw twitter bounty is only for btctalk members or higher ranks (no newbies). It is written in OP.

Bitspace is a POW/POS hybrid  
POW and POS starts from 1st block.  
POW block reward is constant 100 BSX per block until block 120 000.  
From Block 120 001 - 450 010 POW block reward is constant 50 BSX
POS interest is 10% early up to block 120 000
From block 120 001 to block 1 000 000 POS 50% interest.  
After block 1 000 001 POS 10% forever.
POW mining phase will end at block 450 010. (10 months)  
After POW ends. Bitspace will be auto switched to pure POS.

Nist5 hashing algorithm uses a combination of algorithms like  BLAKE, Groestl, JH, Keccak/SHA-3, and Skein.  High-Security  + Energy-Efficient

BSX is on block 86703. It will take 14 days to get to block 120 000.

Could take less days.
