Try to assess the future of your altcoins. Read their updates. Do they release development milestones regularly? Do they have solid partners already or are they still hardly looking for one? Take a look at their roadmaps as well and check whether they are still right on track and operating accordingly or they are already too far behind. Look at their products and their respective reviews. If they fail on all these then you better sell them.

that is great, holding alts is very nice thing to do, Im also a holder of an alts I am not usually look unto the price because I will set a time for me to sell it, I will hold my coins until a year pass by that is my ideal time for me to sell my alts.
