My sister lives in Japan and I was told that the electricity cost is so high and you are right, its very hot during summer. It will increase the energy consumption because you need to turn on the AC to adjust the temperature. I think Iceland is the best place for mining because of the cold weather and low electricity cost. There's not a lot of people there so its really awesome, it feels like you are in a vacation while mining. Sounds cool.

just because bitcoin itself is popular and people want to have more bitcoin it doesn't mean they are all going to start mining it. you know mining requires a rather large initial investment to buy ASICs and set up a rig to start up the operation and not everyone wants to make that kind of investment specially because of the electricity costs and the volatility.
besides there are many easier ways of earning bitcoin, or just simply buying it to have it.
