It's great to see some progress with the development of the transactions of BTC via the EGEM network. One step closer to team achieving their goals. Can't wait to see how Sapphire will turn out too.

Despite all the setbacks, one of the reason I like the EGEM team is the fact they have still stuck it out to progress with EGEM and not abandon the project. Let's hope the progress will continue!

EGEM an exciting community driven project based on Ethereum network. Find out more at discord.egem.io or egem.io

RIPPP?Huh??

No, not RIPPP at all. The EGEM team have been busy at work developing the mobile wallet for EGEM. Seeing the consistent progress of the wallet, with updates every day to few days, on Discord is pretty cool to see.

Also which may be of interest was that EGEM was recently featured on the mineyourbiz podcast a few days ago where the developers chat with the podcast about EGEM and its developments - check out the 2 episodes, though they are pretty long episodes though! Here's the link to the podcast -> https://anchor.fm/mineyourbiz

Option 2 Direct coin mining with payout to coin wallet
Code:
 EthDcrMiner64.exe -di 01 -allpools 1 -platform 2 -mport - -epool ethash.mine.zergpool.com:9999 -ewal <YOUREGEMWALLET> -epsw c=EGEM,mc=EGEM

Option 3 Direct coin mining with autoexchange to specified coin wallet(BTC in example below)

This is one of the most under-rated coins out there. They have been going for over 2 years and development is still very active with regular updates on the discord, community engagement with giveaways etc. I've seen some pretty exciting stuff on the discord in terms of what they are working on as well

Following on from my previous post, just so people are aware:

The team have been doing regular giveaways on the weekends and have just announced their next one and it's big

https://twitter.com/ETHERGEMCOIN/status/1258828568538361856

They also do tips/rains regularly using their dev funds on their discord. The community is great and the guys really care about the project which is more than can be said for most of those that where here a couple of years ago

Love the project and what you're doing - i just had a couple fo questions if you dont mind Smiley
1) Is there an ETA on the whitepaper?

2) As an investor im worried about inflation surrounding the token - currently with no Max supply and more opportunities to mine and Masternode tokens with the release SpN - how do you plan to control inevitable inflation that might arise in the future?

3) An online source (https://www.coincalculators.io/coin/ethergem) states that the block reward for each mined block is 2 tokens (every 13s) is this estimate correct? Just want to get an idea of daily emissions of the token Smiley

4) Are there any future plans to implement a form of staking?

Thanks team and i look forward to your response!

Thanks team and i look forward to your response!

I can help with this even though I'm not part of the core team, I've been around a while:

1. The updated Whitepaper is forthcoming, there is one already but it does require updating along with the roadmap as there is alot of new tech being developed which will be standard within the Egem and SFRX systems as standard.

2. There is inflation, however Ethergem went though a halving a couple of months before BTC. The reward reduction is done in ERAs. See my answer to 3 as well

3. This is about right, as mentioned before Ethergem went through a halving just before BTC. The block reward is 3 which is split into the mining reward and a smaller reward for node stakers.

Here is a chart to explain the breakdown of block rewards for different ERAs:

We are currently on ERA 2

4. There is already Staking available, they call them Quarrynodes. There are two tiers:
Tier 1 - 10,000 Egem collateral
Tier 2 - 30,000 Egem collateral

You must run a T1 node in order to run a T2 node. Setup is as easy as registering with the bot on discord, setting up an ubuntu VPS and running a script. Payouts are every 15 minutes. Information on setting up a node is here: https://wiki.egem.io/qnsetup. You can run up to 10 T2 nodes simultaneously per wallet atm with plans to increase that.
The Nodes are integrated with the bot on discord for payouts.

For more info you can look at the Ethergem WIKI:
https://wiki.egem.io/

So Ethergem provides a Decentralized exchange, thats is truly decentralized, Where I can keep all my crypto on the same address and private key, and in this wallet with Egem Sapphire, i will be able to send BTC (and everthing else?) in 5 seconds through Quantum Swaps? Is it really sending for example Bitcoin, on Bitcoins Blockchain or is it just like a wrapped BTC ?
Trying to get a better understanding.
thanks , cheers.

Hi, it is doing multiple things and yes to the above, but you mention three different functionalities.

1) Where I can keep all my crypto on the same address and private key, and in this wallet with Egem Sapphire

Egem and Sapphire are two blockchains that are intertwined in a way although  EGEM in independent and we place dependencies on sapphire related to egem for future functionality and to share comon resources. One of those common resources is the wallet format which is borrowed from Ethereum anyway - so the cryptography and functions behind an ethereum wallet. This means an EEGEM address works on both blockchains. Additionally we use some functions to derive BTC and other chain addresses from the Ethereum private key so that you can use it on multiple chains in this way - this is just using baked in functionality on an ethereum chain (EGEM chain) and releasing it in the mobile wallet.

You can see our mobile wallet history and the multi currency function at our youtube channel and if you go back a bit there are videos where we send LTC and BTC from an EGEM address there is also sapphire and other token coin transfers on there... I love this wallet for a reason! https://www.youtube.com/c/egemofficial

2) Sapphire is also multi currency chain in that you can have SFRX or other coins associated to your wallet - on Ethereum this concept is with tokens, but on Sapphire it is actual coins. There is, of course SFRX, but there is also other coins that can be natively released or "quantumn swapped" into from another chain and so they are representations of coins on other chains.

3) 5 second bitcoin is easier eplained in my post here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5063954.msg55088349#msg55088349

It is transfer of ownership of native coins.

So this is the three things we are bringing together on Sapphire chain and remember we are still in development of sapphire. I have made public posts when I achive each concept in principle and we are getting closer to fielding a live chain every day. However, it is not live yet. Anyway feel free to stop by discord.egem.io for more conversation on this topice.

It's been exciting to see the recent work being done with EGEM and also with its associated side chain, Sapphire. Throughout the tumultuous markets, the team at EGEM have been consistently working on EGEM and Sapphire and the fruits of their labour are really starting to show.

There has developments of the mobile EGEM wallet.

And there has been the ongoing development and hard work on their subchain, Sapphire. It has and will be exciting to see further development of the decentralised exchange and "5 second bitcoin" transfers.

Have a look at the EGEM official Youtube channel for some demonstrations of what has been achieved so far -
https://www.youtube.com/c/egemofficial
.

Have a look at the Sapphire Bitcointalk thread for more detailed information https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5063954.0.

This is their recently updated roadmap https://twitter.com/ETHERGEMCOIN/status/1307303175519481856.

And lastly visit egem.io for further information about EGEM or visit EGEM at Discord discord.egem.io.

Today the ethergem team completed their first 5-second chain-swap and withdrawal using Sapphire (SFRX). You can find the proof in the SFRX-chat on our discord https://discord.gg/9Bs57YY

A very exciting day for all of Egem and it's community.

Hello everyone. I have dipped my toes into crypto for years but only recently decided to make a more meaningful commitment to the progress of this movement I believe in. Unfortunately for the guys in the discord I had a lot of questions trying to get up to speed. I was welcomed, educated and made to feel like I was never a stranger. There are many talented and knowledge individuals here that willing to help those who want to be involved. I spent a good amount of time checking out different altcoins - but it was hard to keep going once I found the community at EGEM.

I hope to learn much more and maybe even become involved in a way that I am able. If you see me around don't be afraid to say hello and thanks again to the EGEM discord for having me.

No it's impossible to mine EGEM on Zergpool, unfortunatelly command c=BTC,mc=EGEM not works. I try all commands you mantioned to get EGEM mining, but no results - poll give to mine any annother coins (Dubai, Ella, ets) instead EGEM. Try several miners Phoneix,Teamred no mining EGEM
