According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

what an ignorant, profound waste of time.

its like, "hey i'm smart as fuck. look how stupid i can be in the name of science."

Bump!

Only about 3-4 days left for submissions. Remember, you don't have to win to possible get some coins. I have been more than fair with all the bounties I've ran in the past.

Shhhh! Maria may take that the wrong way and think we still are...

Let me know if you have anything specific in mind..

Basically, I've outline most the criteria in the OP, and continue refraining on commenting on any submissions via this thread as promised there, with the exception of accepting edd's resignation from the Bitcoin 100.  Grin Grin Grin

I'll make the cutoff time at 11:59:59PM CST (US) on Nov. 1, 2013, thus two seconds later on Nov. 2, would be too late, to be clear.

You should then read this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=321800.msg3453252#msg3453252

BTW, thanks. Since we already have a Bitcoin Jesus and Moses, I'll anoint myself The Most Interesting Bitcoiner in the World.

Well I feel stupid.

I got all excited to come back and check the winner, then I realized it's 11:59 tomorrow haha..  Cheesy I even backed out on another logo I had been working on earlier cause I thought I didn't have enough time.

So in that case here's a bump lol

First off, I wish to thank the following who took the time to create, then submit at least one logo suggested for Bruno's Micro Pizzeria's website.

cryptasm <Donated $5.00 via BTC to Sean's Outpost per requested>

TheNewAnon135246 <Paid $5.00 via BTC>

Mjbmonetarymetals <Paid $25.00 via BTC>

0nlyBTC

bits4books <Paid $50.00 via BTC>

myrtle90

The winning logo is...

...submitted by bits4books, and will receive $50 USD via BTC.

I also like...

...Mjbmonetarymetals' submission, of which will receive $25 USD via BTC, for I may do something with the nicely done caricature.

Since I'm a fair guy, all other submitters listed above will receive $5 USD via BTC, regardless of how many ideas they submitted, for a grand total of $95 USD via BTC to be paid out.

Would you guys listed above be so kind as to PM me your Bitcoin wallet address so that I can pay you? After 24 hours, those of whom have not yet contacted me, I will PM them to request said addresses. The only reason I'm not PMing first is that I don't feel like it. You see, I ate a 4 lb meal earlier and about to slice into a raspberry and blueberry (combined) pie.

I hope that bits4books is up to the challenge to tweak the winning logo, for it's so close.

Now, if you excuse me, I have a pie to cut into.

~TMIBITW

PS: Thanks again to all those who submitted, along with all those who submitted humorous posts--except edd.  Grin
