Nobody knows yet. Maybe this will happen, but so far there are no prerequisites for this. The market is rapidly falling and may never grow again, because investors are not enough.

Cryptocurrency future is very bright so it is possible that it will be accepted in a lot of shops like malll and restaurant  and if the market will recover more faster there is no doubt that it can also be accepted by a lot of shops earlier than 2025.

Cryptocurrencies are the payment system of the future. I think they will be accepted before 2025 in stores in general, partly because all the big countries have started, or will soon start, to regulate this sector, and then to accept cryptocurrencies as a legal payment system

If this is possible, hope it will happen much earlier this coming 2019. Crypto currency is the new payment in the future. The market will recover fast and it is a good news to us.

There are some shops already accepted bitcoin as payment. One toy shop for children of my friend has accepted bitcoin two years ago. In my opinion, almost shops and shopping mall will accept the payment by cryptocurrency, but it is not sooner than the 2025 year. Actually, I hope to see crypto payment sooner, it is the best if we can see next year, but I know it is difficult. Anyway, we still can keep our hoping seeing crypto in payment methods of shops soon.

nope, needs better usage for the general masses, and needs better reception by everybody. Nobody would convey a different card atm that is in the blockchain, and presumably wouldn't except if the dollar has some major issues later on, for example, hacking or such. No, crypto is better as a venture and a theoretical market

That is what we are looking up to. We would love to see real-life use cases of crypto currencies. There have been efforts throughout the past year which is a good step towards crypto utility in our daily activities. By 2025 i think there will be massive adaption.

If most of the governments accepted and legalized bitcoin, many shops would soon start accepting bitcoin as their mode of payment and no need to wait for that year 2025 to be fully implemented. Legalization will speed up the bitcoin adoption because the businesses and bitcoin users are no longer afraid of using it. Japan have already legalized bitcoin and many of its shops are starting to accept the cryptocurrency in their transactions.

Yes. maybe soon Cryptocurrency will be accepted by some markets and shops. Like supermarkets, payment for balance, loading stations and many more. That is a good news to everyone that crypto can be use as payment.

I think it's interesting that they think that asset backed cryptocurrencies are the future. I can understand why because that may make them less volatile.I don't really like that idea for the long term though. I have been thinking about how you could make a currency have no long term inflation or deflation.

There are many prediction about the future of cryptocurrency that are obviously obvious. Cryptocurrency is efficient and verifiable. There is also a clamour for cashless society, asset backed dollar and the solution to all these is cryptocurrency!
