Apparently, there's already a TV series that involves BTC and the title of that series is Mr. Robot. It is always mentioned in their dialogue and honestly, they are not providing false information about it. The series itself somehow depicts what is really happening in our society right now. At least, that's what I get from it.

It is, somehow, a kind of advertisement for our beloved coin because Mr. Robot is a very successful and famous series across the globe. Some of the people that I know first heard that term from that show and some of them liked it right away. People have their own views regarding different shows and that's also applicable in the scenario of BTC. Some may like it being included in several series but some may not.

If they speak well about bitcoin and that brings benefits to bitcoin, I have nothing to complain about and even if they do not speak well about bitcoin there's nothing we can do about it. they want audience, so they will do whatever it takes to get an audience

First you must ask who is the owner of the television, who is the director of the series and his histoires, in most cases the owners of televisions use their television to manipulate the people in favor of the government or his political party, you should not expect good things coming from TV channels

Numerous tv series have mentioned Bitcoin and there are actually scenes where you can see stores accepting Bitcoin. The blacklist is tv series which I have watched and in the blacklist Bitcoin was mentioned as payment gateway for criminals to get Ransom and to create bounty over head.

Haven't seen any tv series that supports or shows positive aspect of Bitcoin, few documentry have although shown positive side.

I can see cryptocurrency eminiating into popular culture. It's already taking foot and I think it will only grow the older the millennial generation get. I think this can only be a positive. There's no such thing as bad press is the saying

Advertising Bitcoin on the television and mentioning it are two different things. I'm against advertising Bitcoin because I believe it's difficult to explain it in a few seconds. Quick and wrong explanations could lead to many misunderstandings. We shouldn't talk about potential profit, advantages of blockchain and Bitcoin are more important than profit. I don't see anything wrong in mentioning Bitcoin in popular tv series. It's always nice to see a reference to anything connected with technology.

I think bitcoins appear on TV only if for temporary interests, the meaning is today bitcoin is not the main topic. but sometimes I feel that the public is unfairly assessing bitcoin. but I am sure, that bitcoin in future will appear in every TV network and will become the main of the topic, all people talking about bitcoin and need bitcoin.

they raise the main topic when bitcoin has a problem, and if they are willing to realize that the benefits of bitcoin outweigh the losses, so, the state must adopt and manage well bitcoin as a legal currency.

It's in a lot of TV series. It was on the Simpsons multiple times, Family Guy, Blacklist... the list goes on. There have even been movies about crypto and btc. I found this list.

The main problem is that bitcoin and crypto in TV is always portrayed as some kind of way for criminals to send/receive money. In one episode in Blacklist they even used bitcoin to hire an assassin via the dark web.

And in the list, there's even the FUD about how Chinese miners are just controlling all of bitcoin and why it's good for the feds to reuglat XD. Lol, so bitcoin in the media right now is just mostly FUD... which is eh.

We need like a bitcoin documentary or awareness Youtube series or something that will shed light on bitcoin and its stereotypes.

There should be like a movie "Coming out of Africa" or something where people interview citizens who are being oppressed by their leaders and government relating to banking and finances. Then they turn to crypto and are able to send/receive money to each other without any political or banking agendas.

You can give me the name of the movie to see how they talk about Bitcoin. But if Bitcoin is broadcast on TV, it may be time for more participants in the BTC. There is no predictable good or bad. But if more people know of BTC, it will make BTC more complicated and difficult to invest.

It is quite common..when anything become talk among common people or trending. Media houses pick such keywords and try to use it their program script to make a real connection with viewers. It is not only with bitcoin but every such thing which start trending.

I think is fine whenever TV networks use Bitcoin in their shows, at the end of the day, it's nothing but free publicity. One of the most famous tv shows that mentions Bitcoin is Mr.Robot, one of the premises of the show revolves around a cryptocurrency, but Bitcoin gets mentioned here and there. I think The Big Bang Theory also mentioned Bitcoin in one episode. We're even seeing BTC getting mentioned on talk shows like The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

I have yet to see a tv show bringing a bad reputation to bitcoin, I think we're at that point where (almost) everyone sees Bitcoin in a positive light. It'll be interesting to see if this trend continues as the popularity of Bitcoin keeps going up.

 i think that's good that bitcoin mention in tv it was because there's many people against in bitcoin so if they understand what is bitcoin do  maybe they will agre and support bitcoin

I think most mainstream media relating to Bitcoin is negative, this is because bad news spreads quickly and the media only care about reach, rather than facts. I would like it if we could have some positive media, such as a special episode on The Big Bang Theory, or even an episode of Rick and Morty.

Bitcoin being mentioned in TV series actually sounds good to me!! As more it appears on television, more trusted it becomes. I believe even when they don't speak well of crypto, all publicity is positive. Into the brain of the people, btc is going to sound normal. A progressive normalization of btc can help to the common acceptance. I don't know if you have noticed, but, since a few years, TV shows are showing as normal social activities that haven't been considered as it, and now, between teenagers and others it becomes more and more normal, as some kind of illness, like depression, for instance.
The more something is shown on TV, more "normal" become for people. Let's say: somehow television is a part of our self-representation as a society, so if bitcoin has its part, this is good news, though.

Television series that give bad news for sure they do not understand bitcoin and they do not try to buy and plunge in it to do it alone let them understand the truth, and bad news on television will not affect my mind about bitcoin.

       Bitcoin is already popular and if it continue to see on different t.v series as a publicity i think it sounds good because it become more famous and popular specially for  those who have not yet doing and engaging in crypto world. But the problem is the impact and how people understand and accept it because sometimes or mostly publicity in t.v series or even on other social media network gives a negative feedback to bitcoin. So,instead people believe in bitcoin they get afraid and doubt to accept and trust to bitcoin. What i mean is in everything there is a negative and positive outcome,it depends on how people understand it.
