Cardano.ADA is another smart contract platform similar to ETH.The basic purpose of ADA is to use block chain technology to bring banking systems where they have previously been to expensive to implement specifically to developing world.Ada is currently traded at a low price and is easily affordable.Investment in ADA and to hold it for long term would be extremely profitable.

IOTA. MIOTA addresses the transaction fees and scalibilty issue of block chain technology by getting rid of block and chain. In MIOT there is no need of miners to power the network.MIOTA promises free fast transactions. It would facilitate whole machine to machine micro economy.

So both the technologies in both coins are worth of importance and developers are working constantly behind them.Currently both are traded at low prices and investment in these two coins would be highly beneficial and hold them for long term when they would be at maturity level then price would be immensely high.

Yes, extremely ADA is now so cheap and I already have accumulated so much for the future, and I know there is still hope for ADA because of its project.

I think that ada and itoa are very expensive now. If it's me, I definitely won't invest in these two coin and go to the market to look for those who have broken through the ICO issue price.
As long as you study and confirm that these cryptocurrencies are good, buy and hold, I think the proceeds should be better than these two coins.

Longing on ADA even it has no product yet. Buying at every dip and HODL.

Not so optimistic on IOTA. It has too many loopholes and vulnerability.

Both coins have a lot of potential, at least compared to pure pump and dump coins.

I think that IOTA has a lot more long term potential with the fact that they are able to process transactions with 0 transaction fee and they claim that the network will actually run faster and scale better as more nodes join the network.

Also, IOTA has not seen a pump for a long time. ADA's run up has been pretty epic last year.

I would definitely invest in IOTA for 2018 instead of ADA, but both can be good investments.

i'm not agree with u , cuz i don't think that ADA and IOTA in competition because of they r tow different coin with defferent technology and goal
each coin has a goal and a separate challenge  , while IOTA is envloving into internet of things and creating the technology to manage IOT using tangle technology which is a way defferent to blockchains trying to solve the blockchain problem
we have ADA who comes to us with big project and creating a new generation of blockchains that using smart contract
but i think that ADA and IOTA is the most up coming coins giants in the near future

If you're looking at IOTA, then I would look into IoT Chain (ITC). Better tech than IOTA and has the power to scale quickly AND they're not centralized. The future lies in DAG tech. https://iotchain.io/

cmc - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/iot-chain/

Iota it s a new generation of coins, but why Iota better then Byteball?
Look at this datas:

Proof of confirmation
IOTA: PoW
ByteBall: based on main chain

Transaction speed

ByteBall: 255,492 GBYTE / 1,000,000 GBYTE

I would consider cashing in both of these would be wrong at the moment considering recent events of alts cautiously . This is purely a superficial view based on  the stats not the technology.

If I would have 1000$ I invest 500 in IOTA and 500 in ADA. These two are my top 2 favorite altcoins to buy and hold it as much as possible. IOTA has and very innovative idea but the problem they have is decentralization. ADA is more like ETH and only because of that people will invest more

Not ADA not like ETH. Idea of project is fully different. And main goal not same.
If I would to invest $1000 I put $700 in ADA and $300 in Iota. I don't believe in coin IOTA. IoT will be live but for coin I have some doubt

Can’t really choose between the two as each of them has different utilities in the market and are technically quite advanced. IOTA is a much forward project and if it is able to deliver what it has vision for, it will be huge in the market and no other crypto will be able to compete it. IOTA is still not firm and is on development phase.

If IOTA succeeds with its tangle technology, it will be one step beyond blockchain. Though talking about ADA which is based on blockchain, has advanced technology, operates on smart contracts and is highly scalable and well established. According to me both are great projects and will grow big in future.

I don't think that Cardano and IOTA are really competitors. The only real similarity is that they are both new projects that are also very high-profile. Cardano I would say is more of a competitor to ETH, NEO, etc. It certainly does look promising, but the price at the moment is based largely on hype. Similarly with IOTA - IoT is obviously going to be huge, but compare the IOTA price with that of IoT Chain (which arguably has better tech), and it seems that the IOTA price is also based mainly on hype.

I'm not saying either is bad, and Cardano I definitely do like - but I think there are plenty of underpriced coins that are better investments at the moment.
Well, I wouldn’t say either of the coins are based on hype and are overvalued. Though, many low valued coins might have better technology than ADA and IOTA and are likely to succeed in near future, it’s not always the technology that decides the price of the coin.

There are various factors that decides the price of the coin such as development team, team of advisors, their transparency, their support, their partnerships, their updates about work and many others.

According to me, ADA and IOTA both are still undervalued coins and not at all under hype. These are most likely to grow at least by 5X by the end of this year 2018.

ADA has everything going for it it .....BUT its a thin air we pay for now... No product nothing.... I still think it could a great long term investment.
People nowadays are usually running behind hype and popularity. Many new projects and ICO’s are being launched on the Ethereum platform though, the technology that lies beneath ADA is far more advanced and it also operates on the smart contracts just as Ethereum does.

Moreover, ADA is much more scalable than Ethereum. ADA is not receiving the popularity it needs and the credibility. Once ADA becomes well established platform for launching of new projects and ICO’s, it will be huge in future.

I think it's quite different coins and they should not be put into comparison. I think it's worth having in the portfolio and ADA and IOTA
True. These two coins shouldn’t really be compared as both of them serve different purpose in the crypto world. One is based on blockchain technology and the other is based on the tangle technology. Both have different utility and technology. ADA operates on smart contracts and can be compared with ETH, NEO, WAVES, etc and IOTA can be compared with coins such as IOT chain which works on tangle technology as well. So both coins hold potential and one must keep both ADA and IOTA in his/her portfolio.

And finally, IOTA attracted the attention of big investors who see the future in the technology proposed. And for comparison the price is indeed cheaper Cardano. Both are included in the TOP 10 best coin.

Good decision. I also think that both projects are equally promising. These coins didn't have an active growth stage as at ETH in 2017. There is a great chance that investments in these coins can multiply your capital by several times. Just be patient.

ADA and IOTA both have huge potential, but 2018 is not turning out to be a good year for crypto in general, so I really doubt that they will see significant improvements unless the teams manage to accomplish the almost impossible. They both have scaling in mind, but that's not much of an issue when the uptake has stagnated or even dropped, I mean look at Bitcoin fees.
