It was below 1k last year beginning. But from the mid year prices started to explode! What's the reason behind these price rise?

Maybe you haven't really read the reason why bitcoins price goes up and down. Because for all I know there are many factors on to why Bitcoins price goes back up and down, some reasons might have been its demand and some say it is because of the news against bitcoin. As most of the people say, the higher the demand; the higher the price.

last year's price hike on positive news about bitcoin and even bitcoin legalization in some countries also affected the rate of price increase. but this year's huge decline was due to the many negative issues about bitcoin and crypto that kept prices down considerably. |

Its really true about the supply and demand, more demand or investors the higher the price will be. If some whales starts to sell his holdings then let them sell. If we just encourage people to invest bitcoin and hold it then we can achieve like what happened last year. We should not depend on the whales whose playing with bitcoin, its their money and strategy. Just work on how to encourage more investors to help bitcoin rise. |

When the whales started to give others uncertainty then little holders will follow but if the whales are starting to give motivation to pump, then others will follow too.

But we must remember that the real value of a cryptocurrency is not driven by price but instead is driven by utility. While bitcoin may always be the proverbial hidden pot of gold for early buyers the future of all cryptocurrencies is still being written. Just as, in 1994, no one could have predicted the prevalence and value of open source projects like Linux and Apache, no one can currently predict what bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will do for us in the future. Until we know, it’s best to buckle up and enjoy the ride.

high to low price bitcoin depending on the market demand is there, if the higher market demand for bitcoin then, of course, will cause price increases on bitcoin itself.

I think that today's state of things on the market does not please anyone at all. Almost 50 percent loss of the price of all coins on stock exchanges and this trend has been going on for quite some time. What to expect in the future, it is very difficult to predict. |

The price of every cryptocurrency is always depending on the supply and demand of a coin. The price of bitcoins is keep on increasing because there are more people that's getting interested to earn it and it makes the price of bitcoins increase even more. |

BTC has a high price, one reason is that BTC users are now increasing rapidly and many people are looking for and need bitcoin. So many people are competing to get bitcoin in various ways. Because of the rapid demand for BTC makes the price of BTC automatically increased sharply. |

The reason why bitcoin's price is high because the supply is not much compare to the bitcoin they demand that is why investors are willing to buy higher price just to reach their bitcoin supply target. Example their target is 10 bitcoin but the supplied bitcoin did not reach 10 so they are willing to pay more than bitcoin normal price just to reach their target that is called supply and demand. |

Maybe you haven't really read the reason why bitcoins price goes up and down. Because for all I know there are many factors on to why Bitcoins price goes back up and down, some reasons might have been its demand and some say it is because of the news against bitcoin. As most of the people say, the higher the demand; the higher the price.
I think every person has their own opinion about that and my opinion is that bitcoin price is going up because bitcoin is becoming the main currency of the world and its demand is increasing from time to time therefore the supply is decreasing and the price is going up, i think that this trend will continue for a long long time and bitcoin price is expected to cross 50000$ in near future. |

bitcoin generally go up because of the increse in the demand so I think people tend to buy bitcoin during the second half of the year . I don't know for sure why does that happen. Maybe because of it recession every begining of the year so like we are in a loop people tend to buy when the prices go down so the demand increses the price goes up people tend to sell or stop buying so the price goes down because the demand decreases and so on. |

You can always check different news if the market price will increase due to a new scenario that will exist like market is being hacked or there are more people who are investing, the news and articles are really good provider in order to determine the best time to invest or sell your coins. |

I think, price increased because of high demand, and high demand is caused in turn, by a large number of advertising companies, what started in october - november 2017 and ended in january-february 2018, which, as I said earlier, were financed by people who invested a lot of money in bitcoin, in order to make a good profit (and they did).
