Scarcity and dissemination.
People are starting to realize how rare it actual is, and coming to terms with the fact that they probably will never be able to own an entire bitcoin themselves.
The rich also love to buy things after they become expensive, so more and more supply is being removed by the rich now, while the poor are desperately trying to catch the train. Couple that with supply being permanently lost over time.
The supply shock creates that pump formation we are used to seeing, and then it dumps and begins the cycle again.

I think it just an effect what did the massive advertisement campaign in end of 2017, what was financed by the group of rich investors to boost bitcoin price. And since many of new people started using bitcoin, demand grew thereby increasing the price.

It happened I think because of the whale investors who are capable to manipulate the price value of bitcoin secondary the demand by that time was so high, so its rapidly increase in an unexpected. |

I think the main reason behind this is their popularity. Them being popular means that there will be a lot more people who will buy them because they are easy to buy and we all know the fact that if the demands of the bitcoins will rise the price of them will rise too because that how their volatility works. Then they grow much more that makes them a great investment and even those normal people who did not really invest try to biy bitcoins and so that makes the bitcoins rise. |

The market depends mainly on supply and demand. Simply put, demand was high so price went up.
Also, the extreme popularity of Bitcoin in Korea pushed the price upwards. It seems the price of Bitcoin is highly elastic.

The price is depending on the supply and demand in the market and we can always rely on the volatility of the coins in order to earn more profit so we cannot always expect a high price because we also need a dumping time in order to invest at a lower price. |

I think that is the time when businesses are looking for something new to serve their business. They found the potential of bitcoin and invested in it, so bitcoin was pumping a lot of capital. When difference creates between demand and supply then the price move up or down,Bitcoin demand is more than supply so its price move up this is the simple logic behind any market or trading platform or single currency.
