I'm already in Crypto since march 2017 and made a decent amount of money to pay off my bills and some holidays.

I had a situation in my family few months ago where I received a lot of money from my dead granma.

I would like to chose ONE crypto and go "all in" with around 50k usd.

My goal is 1 year HODL and then withdraw most of it for an house or something like that.

Doing my own research I found ICON (ICX) as possible 10-20x cryptocurrency in this given timeframe.


PS: Please do not suggest unknown or shitcoins. (I know those may make a good money but I am not confident on putting so much money in these).

50k dollars capital is very big amount. I hope you will right altcoin for your capital so your 50k dollars will become millions of dollars after few months or few years only. Better to make a research so you can see what coin is better to buy or who is potential. More altcoins more profit to get. Be careful because once you fail you will be poor not become rich.

Basically I knew some friends who had this kind of money that invested at the beginning of 2017 and another that invested at the end of the year.

It was all their savings and it was earning bad interest in the bank and they wanted to put the money to work. They all invested in 2008 in the stock market and lost it all and wanted to try something different.

The guy who invested the $50,000, he made probably $750,000 at one point and then he kept rebuying the alts he sold and eventually a few months back he sold everything and cashed out his original $50,000.

The who invested $50,000 in December is very bitter because his net worth now is like $5,000 and he hasn't sold yet. He told me he is waiting until it goes back up to like $25,000 and he will cash out then and never look back.

I would in your place buy more Ethereum and Bitcoin coins, since these tokens should make up most of your crypto currency portfolio. And I would also remove the last 2 altcoins from your list.
