I also believed that LN announcement could be the reason why most of the big investors didnt put their money back into ethereum's market because it will be too risky if bitcoin's Lightning Network will be implemented and their money is still in the altcoins,they wouldnt want to lose a lot of money with the bloodbath that will happen.

Maybe you're misunderstanding something in here. Not all ICO banned, only scam ICO projects banned. For example maybe you still remember about month ago, Facebook banned all ads related to ICO and cryptocurrency but the fact that they only removed ads of scam cryptocurrency and scam ICO project. For now, you still can see a lot of ads related to legit cryptocurrency and legit ICO project on Google, Facebook, Twitter,......everywhere.

That is not the main reason why ethereum is getting dumped,its because Bitcoin's lightning network is coming this april that is why most of the investors are putting their money to bitcoin instead of ethereum,that is why ethereum's market is still not recovering from the last bloodbath or maybe these people are into somethin that is why they have driven the price down.

everyone knows that ETH price has only been going up because of all the ICOs that have been using this platform. but we all doubted how effective it was.

right now that ICOs are under attack, their ads are being banned on biggest platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Google,... and they also are getting banned in many countries and right now they are illegal.
with all that ethereum price is also falling pretty hard.

This is most ridiculous theory I have ever heard. The whole market is down due to totally different reasons. IMO the market will recover and we will all forget about this.

No, I don't think Ethereum being used in ICOs was the only reason behind it's growth. Ethereum is a pretty good coin which is a good investment opportunity and a lot of people were investing in it.
As you may know, a lot of coins in the market are suffering from drops currently, so I think the same is happening with ethereum.

Its platform is the reason why ethereum has reached above $1k but the dumping doesnt mean that people doesnt want to invest to it anymore,fundamentals from other coins are too much while ethereum doesnt have any,that is why people are choosing other coins over ethereum today because ethereum is getting dumped by the whales switching back to bitcoin.

Not these restrictions did put ethereum' value into failure,but these investors who didnt put those billions of dollars to ethereum because they arent sure to its credibility, a lot of other coins has good fundamentals which ethereum doesnt have for a long time,its platform isnt enough to sustain its price because the community wants to get profits where they can have in ethereum that is why they switch back to bitcoin that might pump in the upcoming days.

This is neither the first time nor the last that ICO got banned or regulated as more and more ICO scam happens. It's a good move for long term crypocurrency development.

That’s true. This move is to ensure the safety of the investors and not to crack down the launching of ICO’s. This move will prove very helpful and effective in the long term as it will stop the money from escaping the crypto market due to scam and fraud ICO’s and help the crypto market to gain stability and recover in the long term.

People need to understand that the regulations are for the betterment of the traders and the investors and to protect them from scam and fraudulent activities and from losing their hard earned money.

Not only that , i believe there is many reasons why eth pumped up, The reasons why so many ICOs accepted ETH as payment cause ETH is usefull and so many ICOs are using ETHEREUM network. So i think why ethereum pumped up cause Ethereum is usefull and people think there will so many people need it and using it.

Ethereum, though being useful, there are many other altcoins that are just like ETH and have far advanced technology. ETH is alive and growing in the market just because of its popularity and hype.

There are altcoins such as NEO, WAVES and ADA that operate smart contracts and have better technology and scalability than Ethereum, still the number of ICO’s launching are more of ETH platform. The reason is just the hype of ETH among people.

Not only that , i believe there is many reasons why eth pumped up, The reasons why so many ICOs accepted ETH as payment cause ETH is usefull and so many ICOs are using ETHEREUM network. So i think why ethereum pumped up cause Ethereum is usefull and people think there will so many people need it and using it.

Like ? Can you name two coins which are used for making dapps apart from Lisk and Waves and are as widely used as ETH ? Their technology will be advanced but it's not just the tech,it's the easy of use and community adaptation what decides how far the project can go.

You're so wrong on that last paragraph.Waves have poor user documentation and it is so difficult for a newbie to start writing a smart contract using waves since there are barely any tutorials on it.

According to me, there are two factors due to which the price of ETH was pumping :
1 Launching of various ICO’s on its platform, which provided funding.
2 ETH being used as major trading pair for many altcoins on many decentralized crypto exchanges.
So, indeed the price and movement of ETH has been affected by the actions taken by government and social platforms on the launching and promotion of ICO’s.

I believe so too. ICOs are just all hyped last year causing the price of Ethereum to elevate quickly. Right now, new regulations are being implemented which create threats on ICOs because some investors does not want/are afraid to comply with them. This decreases the chance of ICOs to end up successfully. The banning also afflicted Eth price.

Still, I am hoping that Eth will recover with Bitcoin's recovery. For me, they are the two best coin to invest.
