coin community need channel to talk about wallet update with exchange.
that's the first job. development is the second.
someone must do the job to do something new.

I am not sure who you are but plenty of coins have been taken over and made new wallets that exchanges excepted. Now, are you trustworthy enough to make a wallet? Remains to be seen.

i developed some other coins, and had analyzed FFC too. but i have bitter experience with cryptsy.
recently, i found that they are so passive if the developer is not original author.
if one man wanna do big deal, he can't do it for himself.
FFC need foundation or group which promote FFC, handle exchange, develop wallet and etc.
it was too hard job for me to do alone.
if anyone can connect cryptsy and make them move, i can move too.

i Understand Crypsty can be "Difficult"
But we should move ahead with a hardfork roadmap ...
1. explicit list of the changes / costs / timeframe
2. we nag cryptsy until we get positive results
3. FORK it

this may take 18months (there is no great rush) but we can plan exactly the fork

can you help get more nodes and pools?
do a technical review of the FFC code?

we can do some light upgrades of the code (without forking it too)

ALSO (not so technical stuff)
1.  backups of github/websites/logos
2.  create new websites
3.  create new block explorers
4.  BOOTSTRAPS

I think once we take care of the other stuff getting Cryptsy to update will be the easy part.

I will contribute what ever is needed to overhaul the coin my only limitation is time.

In the past I attempted to hire some people to do a website and blockexplorer but they were too busy.

The coin itself needs to be fixed and updated.

Real ip address (ipv4 and/or ipv6) to listen, 24/7 updateme of your fireflycoin wallet. If you behind firewall (wireless router etc.), you can forward port 5534 to your computer (with the wallet running).
