One of the best features of Bitcoin is it's anonymity. This is also one of the reason why countries are banning or at least hesitant to embrace the technology. From money laundering to illegal drug transactions to human trafficking. We always blame the FUD from mainstream media, financial institutions like banks, the government etal. But do you think, the one that would "kill" Bitcoin is actually the nature of it.

Here's another news where Bitcoin was being used in an illegal activity. This will raise a lot of eyebrows because it concerns our children.

http://www.news.com.au/finance/money/investing/bitcoin-could-become-illegal-after-its-blockchain-was-discovered-containing-child-abuse/news-story/bf486e6e8de453fd7ad2abba019952dd
Yes, bitcoin is being used in Internet to buy some illegal prducts and weaponry but we can say that fiat money alsois being used the same way as bitcoin, so what is the point of it, if they ban bitcoin still bad guys may used fiat money as an exchange or pay to the illegal prducts.

I can't believe that people actually think that this kind of things could kill bitcoin. Every single thing we have in our life can be used in the wrong way, so? Is it fault of the things or maybe people's fault?

this unfortunately is the ugly side of the bitcoin. but this depends on the user and how they utilize it. i dont think this will be a reason for it to die.

Actually I cant say if bitcoin will kill itself but there’s a possibility that it might happen
because if they can afford to sustain their demand in this industry then more conflicts or circumstances will come.

This is double sidede knife actually. BTC cons and pros. People prefer anonymty but goverments and financial institutes don't like privacy :/
Bitcoin decentralised nature is one of the biggest disadvantage for it. Many government never want any currency like bitcoin in their which they cannot control, because it affects their country economy. This thing  is the main reason behind its ban in many country. Another thing is its transaction facility. Although it is a helpful feature of bitcoin but it has also some serious demerits. Bitcoin provide untraceable money trade facilities to its user, due to this many anti social people use it for their criminal activity. And many government ban bitcoin in their country for this reason. So these above facilities of bitcoin kills itself.

I dont share the same thought, i think this is the reason why bitcoin will get even popular and mainstream because with all the government spying on their people we are in the extention of our privacy we will cling to something that would hide us somehow..

I think not, bitcoin does not die because of the decentralized system, I think the bitcoin system will make it more popular and stronger.

Bitcoin is just like any other currency which serves as a medium of exchange so anybody can use it just like any other currency. To overcome this drop should have the patience.

You are completely right. Patience is the key factor to gain in this cryptocurrency world. Who is patient will be the winners for sure.

We do not need to be afraid of this in bitcoin. Bitcoin is very little used by criminals for illegal purposes because he is only relatively anonymous. A much greater threat to bitcoin is its preferential use as a means of accumulating value. This should logically lead first to the expected large increase in its price to the emergence of panic after a certain negative information and as a consequence - a very low drop in its price, down to actual depreciation.

If electricity is lost on the entire planet and the Internet stops working, the sites of the bitcoin network will not be able to communicate with each other, and the system will become useless. Temporal global disconnection of the Internet, of course, will create some confusion in the bitcoin community, but (theoretically) problems should not arise - the system should simply continue the blockage from the longest chain. To bitcoin remained formally alive, a few fans of the system or museums that support running software are enough.

maybe If bitcoin is constantly used for illegal things then at any time bitcoin will be eliminated. And if the theft of bitcoin currencies continues without action to be fixed it will cause bitcoin to be slow and abandoned by investors and users.

That is false

the same thing happens in the central bank system, it still running

Whats killing bitcoin is the developers in fighting

Bitcon being attacked because it is a decentralized system

Roger ver and the hard forks was used to discredit bitcoin

Currently debate is raging over distributed lightning network and decentralized lightning network
Again trying to centralize bitcoin through every transaction on the lightning network

Segwit is a failure due to the inability to decentralize lightning networks

Just remember why they are attacking bitcoin

It would do more than just provide a currency system it is a truth system as well

Truth that we have been enslaved by central bank inflation and tax lies

Even if it is 1 out of a 1000 chance this is quite possible seeing that bitcoin has grown too much than expected, but these predictions existed with bitcoin from the start furthermore, when you look at the market, the bitcoin dominance rate is nearly 30-40 % which means opportunity still exists to grow.

One of the best features of Bitcoin is its anonymity, this will bring new opportunities for bad people in doing a lot of illegal activities, ranging from money laundering to illegal drug transactions to human trafficking. if this is on let it continue, will automatically generate pros and cons, which result in blocked Bitcoin in many countries.

We all know this, but could not deny the positive values that bitcoin brings. It's difficult for the Government or the Bank admitted. But the organizers as well as blockchain is the future.

Rightly said, we cannot leave medicines because of side effects. It is primary effect (or cure) that medicine provides that matters as it over weighs all the side effects. Same applies to crypto or bitcoins. People using it for illegal means is a problem and it needs to be strictly dealt with. This does not mean we should put an end to crypto.

Well you cant just say because bitcoin is being use for illegal dealing it will kill it self or die a natural death, bitcoin just like every other currencies face the same challenges of being an instruments in the hand of manipulators but as a decentralized asset the holder may decide to use it for negative or positive things it they decision.

Cash has been used for all of the above for decades, and provides just as much anonymity, which is why many governments are pushing for the cashless society. And while BTC transactions are anonymous, they don't happen in a vacuum, especially when used for illegal activity. Just because BTC was used as a payment method, it doesn't mean the criminals have removed all traces of being found.

There is no reason for it to commit suicide, it is booming in every way, Bitcoin can cause many crimes and illegal. However, to grow up to date, it seems to bring more benefits than harm
