I learned it from an advertisement in the internet, I become curios and then made a lot of research in the internet. I don't actually understand it at first but just in time I got to understand how this system work. Luckily, after founding it in the internet, I found out also that a friend of mine is also making an investment about it and I ask him to teach me how to start.

I think the only way to learn really well about a crypto or a project is read their whitepaper. Asking question with the supports about the problem that you're not clear about this project or crypto.( good project will have a good support). Comparing this project with other to figure which is the best out.

Normally I use coinmarketcap but for new coins and tokens I am looking at the announcement boards. If their ann threads is interesting, I visit their website and read the whitepaper.

Curious to know how everyone finds and learns about all different sorts of altcoins. I personally go onto coinmarketcap and just find a random coin, and then research it's name on google. How do you do it?
The largest amount of information about all cryptocurrencies is concentrated in one place, on the forum - BITCOINTALK.org How do you come across a coin though and say, "that's the one I wanna look into"?

Most times it through all these coin watch sites like coinmarketcap as well as through friends that probably in a way have come across some of these coins. Another way in which i get to know about some of these coins is sometime during the ICO and before listing. What i just do is monitor it until it is listed on exchange. Also, for ERC20 tokens, ethplorer can be used to know about some of these coins.

In this forum we learn and discuss about many crypto coins. And through coinmarketcap we can see the current price, go to the website of a coin or altcoin, and look at the marketcap history of a coin.

How about tokenmarket.net. I've used this site to discover great projects and ICOs. One cool feature of this site is that it keeps an updated feeds of the progress of the project. You could check it out.

At first, I have known crypto currencies because of my classmate, and up until now he continues to have crypto currencies. At first, I don't know what it is but I just read here in bitcoin forum about bitcoin and altcoins, and now I earn bitcpin and altcoins, by joining in different campaigns. I am still learning about altcoins and my other classmates have suggested different altcoins.

It would be too much time to go randomly over coinmarketcap, you should find some good websites that follow icos, for example hype codes is interesting, and there are tons of them, just research few of them and find out whos type of website suits you most to follow, and than go over their propositions

I just know about crypto, there is someone who posted on social media about that topic. I wonder what was it i research it and read all of those information. Then when i was here in the community my knowledge has been wider enough for reading all post and threads.

It depends, ICO lists and review sites are helpful to gauge upcoming blockchain projects. The BitcoinTalk forum here is another great source of information. There are plenty of threads on specific coins on this forum, and the Speculation forum under altcoins. You can browse those threads for hours reading up on various projects. People here are often pretty in-depth with their research and analysis. Be careful listening to 'crypto advisors' on Twitter and YouTube... recipe for disaster.

I do check it out on coin market cap and also do research about latest crypto coins in the market. And then do the through research about all the coins I get to know separately before investing in any coin.

Coin marketbcap is not the place to find and learn new altcoin because they dont just any coin and most coins you find on there are coin that have reach some certain capital and volume. The best place you can find newly altcoin are through ICO list and I recommend Yocoin to you.

There are no new coins on the coinmarket, which are still at an early stage of development or with low liquidity, and among them there can be really good coins. And this forum is just full of messages about such coins, which sometimes wonder where they dug it up.

you can refer to coinmarketcap, there is enough information. in each of the listed coins is always accompanied by complete data. such as their sites and social media. it can be your information to research and try to study it from reading in its entirety. then you compare with some other altcoin. yes, I usually like that, because I have not found new methods to be faster and accurate in learning and research.
