if you look at history I think you should hold till you make a profit, bitcoin had crashes in the past and altcoins as well but generally speaking the trends are upward, so if you despair when the market is down and sell you will lose the opportunity to realize a profit

We have to wait until crypto coins rise up again at the market, bitcoin and top altcoins are best in long term investment and im sure they will rise high within this year. Well actually there is no rule or time limit of selling the coins. The main thing is that you should not go for the huge profit when the market is very unstable. 2nd thing you should always play in small parts at the time when market is down or unstable. If you are on loss now then i think you should hold your coins for long because in future the price will increase and then you can recover all your money or maybe earn some profit also.

Now there is no point in selling coins now, because the market has fallen a lot. Many coins in my portfolio droped down by 50-85%. I think that soon the situation will change and the market will start to grow. I'm ready to wait up to a year.
