How long should one have to wait to sell

Because of the large volatility of bitcoin, most coins fell in price several times. In my opinion bitcoin grows - we keept, bitcoin falls - we sell altcoins. Bitcoin less than 10k I will not sell.

i think you just need to hold. because if you sell now its the same thing you loss you profit. if you hold your coin maybe market will raise up again. and pretty sure the market will going up again. just patient and hold.

While Holding any altcoins , first thing you should do is read the company future plan or roadmap that how much the company will bring themselves in the future . I have Seen people holding large number of altcoins for months and profit earning of a very small amount. You should keep the coins depending upon the future market of that coin for e.g like ETH , it was having a very good map in the future market and ETH prooved themselves right.

It depends on what works for you, for me I wait as long as 6 months to 2 years to sell of and re-invest the coin. but it depends on you and what works for you at the moment.

because i believe they will rise, i think after there is good news will rise

it depends on your feelings. but if you feel that you have some profit, why not selling? if you are a day trader, scalping or trade for short amount of time, then go brother. but, as most successful trader they have long patience to get more profit, but it takes a long period of time.
And now im holding those coin and waiting to get x3 to 5.

It actually depends on your goal, your target value for bitcoin or your target amount of profit that you will gain. Butcon value is definitely going down and a little crazy but as for me, i will be holding my clins until i reach my target amount or goal. For now, i guess i will just sit back, relax, and Observe.

Why hold in the first place? I will only hold when my portfolio is gaining and if i think will gain more. But if will not i will not hesitate to sell/trade my equities.

Depends on your goal. What is your target? if your target is sell when you reached 20% profit then sell. You don't sell because you've been holding for a long time, eve if we say you've been holding for a year but if you compute how much profit you already earned and it turns out its negative then don't sell. Setting a goal is the most important part in investing and in trading and you have to stick to it.

Now if the market is bearish and you are losing money, re-think your plan, Is it achievable? Is it realistic? If you sell, do you have back up plans where you can recover the amount that you lost? I would sell if I see an opportunity that can help me recover what I've lost.

The problem is that everyone have their own "highest price"
As for me I am in bitcoin for a very very long time. And I don't sell it is not necessary, from the all time I being in crypto I cashed out only once.
Because some people understands that bitcoin can reach its highest value. And I think that now is the time when people from government and business are making the final buy.
And they have a lot of money, if they understand the real value of btc they can spend this paper , all of it to bitcoin. Someone will say I am crazy. Time will show who really was

no one knows when bitcoin will increase we just wait until our target profit is reached .. if you wait for $ 10,000 price I don't think it takes much time but if you expect $ 30,000- $ 50.000 then we just need patience
