If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do?

It depends on why you bought the particular coin in the first place and what your investment goals are.  If it's a coin that you believe in long-term, why not hold it and see where it goes?  I'd venture to guess most people probably end up losing/not earning as much by trying to play market cycles.

As a rule, if this happens, everyone will immediately sell. If you did not have a sell order, you will most likely miss this pump. In this situation, I think it is definitely worth selling.

If it rises by 40% I will hold but if it rises by 200% I will sell. I normally look for profit between 90-100% and if I reach it I sell coin immediately. Trade strategy is very important and I always follow it.

It all depends on the purpose for which I invested in these coins. If for a long time and I am sure that the price will be even higher, I will continue to hold in anticipation of a further increase in the price.

I will immediately sold all of it, I always failed to sell out my coins when in their peak. So, I will not lose that kind of opportunity having 40% - 200% gain in overnight. For me it is a big profit instantly. Some of traders they are all happy if they gain 20% in 1 week or a month. If your goal is long term, maybe you can consider a lot bit more gain, but it is risky.

In my opinion, whenever we have a huge change of value over night, the most important is to stop and think. Think way did it happen and what did it cause it. Will it continue or will change directions. After consider all of the information we have, make a decision.

Naturally, I would sell all of these coins. As practice shows, a strong one-day holiday is rewarded with the same sharp drop! But I would sell parts by piece, as the coin's value increases.

It happened during the last winter pump. I usually sold 60-70 percent of these coins and waited for the price to decrease or just bought another perspective coins. Another 30-40 percent, were still on my account with a hope for another big pump. I think it is a good strategy, if you are looking for fast profits. If you are a long term investor and you believe in this coin, just left the whole balance and chill until you will get 2000% profit.

Surely i will sell my coin after 200 percantage pump because i know after pump all coins will be dumped. So i will buy again with my dollar.
That is another option if i sell after 200 percentage pump surely that coin continue pumping until 500 percentage but profits always good for me.
I prefer less profits rather than loosing.

If this happened, I believe you were already working on that hypothesis, right? You need to be reasonable, but I think everyone believes that things can suddenly take off! So, what was your goal if that happened? Sell half of the position to recover the initial investment? It's important to previously speculate various possibilities from gains and losses to not let the emotion appear.

I will sell definitely. If my coin grows 100% over a night, I will sell them all! It is very rare to reach 200% growth at a time.  So, I will see if it crosses 100% and then when it will come to down I will buy again. However, 200% means a very good profit. So, I think Most of the people would sell.

I also prefer to keep coins for a long time, but if the coin gives such growth, then it should certainly be sold, I do not see the point of keeping it even longer, it's better to sell and wait until the price drops and buy back

if it had increased by how much overnight, then I would just sell it and thereby fix the profit. the sad experience of December 2017 taught me a lot

I think that it would be best to sell most of them all because even such ups now would be very good, but something very serious is waiting for us, I think everything will be fine. The rest is not so long.
