Everything depends on you, if it is your last money, I would definitely recommend to quit crypto. Never play with your last money and while investing just think that those money are completely gone, it would be much easier to overcome mistakes.

Well, this thread is old and it is too late to sell your bags that already lost 95% - 99% of its value. Your $1,000 is already just $50. There is not much to lose from $50 to $2.50 at this point. I firmly believed altcoins won't die because innovation and greed always come back.

You are right, this thread is very old one where people are in confusion state whether to hold the altcoin they are holding, whether if a person is holding a potential coin which is listed in top 100 in CMC will have a huge chance to increase their prices. There is a huge chance for these coins once the market starts recovering.

Well this topic is from March 2018, in that time selling would be the best option, since then prices dropped a lot. Selling back then and buying back now would be awesome shorting, the one that should be in trading books.
But if he didn't sell them until now he need to clean his portfolio, some coins dropped so hard that it will be hard for them to recover, we can see that by volumes they have on exchanges. If he doesn't sell now and take at least some money, he will stay without that little, some coins are going to zero!

I choose not to hold back and do daily trading. That's the way I get the benefits every day. but if you still don't dare to start trading you can hold it in and it might indeed be a very good choice to save assets because the price is down.

of course this is not a good time to sell unless there is a sudden need, HODL is the best way in the bearish market at Altcoins at the moment. I think in 2020 there will probably be a pump at the price of Altcoins and if there are a lot of Altcoins.
