I can't remember where I read the issue when this happens, but when I open up my cgminer software via SSH and check out my average hash speed it is 280Gh/s. Then when I view my BTC Guild's dashboard my average is 230Gh/s. I'm losing 50Gh/s somewhere and can't figure out why. I read a lot of these KNC miners are plagued with hardware issues and haven't been fully tested and I'm thinking I just got a bum miner, that's all. Are there particular places to look where I can check what my hardware errors are and all that? I', not very familiar with the cgminer software itself, hence me asking this here.

Thanks.

It's the driver KFC wrote - it counts hardware errors as hashrate. None of the drivers in the mainline cgminer code do that.
