I read every day about supposedly great project in the crypto market. Many of the coins have no working products and there is only one hype.
From a technical point of view, there are only a few really strong projects. One of them is Viacoin. Technically, it's way ahead of bitcoin, litecoin and vertcoin.
The roadmap last year was respected by the developers and there are more great developments coming up this year. The community at viacoin is growing and
I recommend anyone to deal with viacoin.

If the developers can implement the roadmap I see a huge growth potential for Viacoin.

The coin has been around since 2014 and is well established and technically stands out from 99% of all other coins. With a current market capitalization of $ 35,942,110
and a coin price of $ 1.56 and rank 214 on coinmarketcap it is highly undervalued compared to most other projects. My personal estimate of price development is the
price target of $ 170 at the end of 2018, which equals x100.

What is your opinion on viacoin?

This is decent altcoin and Roadmap, white paper clear to explain everything so it will reach good position in future. But peoples are looking to top trending coins so ViaCoin is the survive in longterm but it will not reach high marketcap in soon.

That seems good but those developments need too much time and many developer. It is easy to write such roadmap as most projects do. But it does not anymore pump the price.

What I see here is the team playing with all the good things in the space, all those good features in other projects they want to implement it in their own project but when you look at the quality of the developing team you start to ask question if they can deliver on this. I personally don't think the team can develop on all their promises

Please check the roadmap from 2017 and you will see that they completed 90% already.

I am therefore optimistic that they will make it again this year

The tech part of this project is really good, however, it needs to drive attention. I believe it could easily reach top 50 by the end of this summer if they hire good growth hackers.

The OP is right about the tech, it's the best "coin" there is. The price won't get that high this year though. Who cares, this is one for the long-term.

I see the fundamentals of the coin is strong enough, enough to hodl it even long term. Though I need more research to go invest in this coin, this article of yours is really informative and catched my attention. Hope this coin would moon real soon.

This dip is probably one of the bests points to buy VIA. The price is on levels of July 17, right before core 0.15 release. And with whole the roadmap VIA is a good choice both for couple weeks and several months investment.

A good coin on blockhain bitcoin made to fight and compete with smart ether contracts. But they do not yet have a platform and people just look around whether it's worth their investment. If the developers really all do what they promise, then I think for bitcoin will be a good replacement.

I'm a software developer for more than 15 years and I spend an hour looking viacoin on github. The only changes made by viacoin devs are changing the readme files, version numbers and rebranding of bitcoin core code.
From my analysis every functionality is back-ported from the codebase of another larger project.

Hence my question, is there a place to see the actual innovation happening in viacoin and what makes it different from the other larger projects like btc/ltc/eth ?

VIA reaching $170 is a pretty big forecast which seems a little unrealistic at this stage but if all of the roadmap is accomplished there'll surely be a lot more value added to this

Don't fool yourself.

Even with Lightning Network Daemon (LND), coins Via can't achieve mass adoption and move over Bitcoin. My prediction is that Via will lurking around $1.5-$3 in next year.
