In my opinion i can say yes selling bitcoin is a stupid decision especially if you will sell your bitcoin when its price or value is to low than the buying price. Yes their has no perfect time in selling or buying bitcoin because no one knows when its price will go down or even will increase. Only the worst thing scenario is that if you had the felling to sell then in just a few seconds its price already decrees and that is really embarrassing. Well it is normal thing especially if you were just new in this industry or business but it has always a limitation. Habitual selling of coins when its price were lower than the buying price will make you a stupid person.

I don't think so ,What if you really needed a money or Fiat and you only have bitcoin is it still a stupid decision?
It would only be a stupid decision if you know that it is still at a low price and you would sell it even if you don't need a Fiat.

Sometimes the bitcoin sellers do not because they see the market going down so they sell. Maybe they are borrowing money to invest in this market and the monthly interest they pay is too high. And the market goes down and lasts for many months, they are no longer able to sustain it and forced to sell.

So knowing that  some people selling their bitcoin I feel so sorry for them.  

It's not bad to sell bitcoin, the bad if it's a scam, the bitcoin price may have dropped but it does not mean we're going to panic, because the time will come when the bitcoin will again increase.

If you see it with loss then obviously it is most stupid decision and selling it with the profits would be always appreciated. Now I dont understand why people go ahead and do the selling in loss because of which such threads are created in general to ask why they sell and is it stupidity. Yes off course its stupidity if you are selling the most precious coin of the crypto currency which can benefit you in the future with profits and what it asks for is your "time" and "patience" and nothing much. Im completely aware that there is more than 50% of crowd which falls under such behaviour where they do stupidity of selling the coins to whom we call as weak hands. They are the cause for speeding this selling plague.

It can be a stupid decision if the prices go up immediately after the sale. I sold a few of my coins in 2015, when the exchange rate was around $200 per coin. Imagine what I could have done with that many coins.... But then again, I sold a few more coins in December 2017, when the exchange rate was $16,000 per coin. So it all depends on luck....

Of course. The price is low now but that doesn't mean that the price will remain like this whole the time. Bitcoin had passed such types of bad situations in past. There was a time when bitcoin was only 700$ or less than that. But it increased. From 700$ it raised to 18k$.
So, if you just analyse the price range of last year then you will clearly understand the nature of bitcoin. When you understand the nature then you will also strongly believe that the price will again be high like before.

Currently market is going toward the down and this is really a usual thing in this field for the newbies that they get into panic and sell with loss .
And also here we can see dump in the price of the bitcoin with two side , at one side where we seen that price of one btc was about 25k$ , so chances are better for us to hold and make profit but at another side many people are looking towards the dump in the price and they are only see that what may be the minimum price of bitcoin ( that was below 1$ long time back when it was started) .
So here we just need to tell them with more priority and boldness that we should not take tension with these things , it is a time for us to hold and make profit in future .

Well the trick would probably be to avoid looking at the price every hour. It's going to be hard to control yourself once you see your capital being slowly chipped down. First instinct would be to cut losses which is most of the time a newbie mistake.

True enough. People shouldn't panic and sell all their bitcoins to "cut their losses". It's plenty more losses if they sell it.
