I hope BTC stops being so important at some point. There are several high potential projects out there of which I feel that they are unable to show their true potential because of the importance of Bitcoin. I hope more fiat trading pairs will come in the near future...this would probably be a good first step into severing ties with bitcoin.

Corporation and institutions are recognizing the benefits of blockchain, all this news are good for mass adoption and will be reflected in the price.

Dont be panic this is common in crypto world.During dip period you can buy your favorite coins at relatively low rates and later when market goes up you can sell at higher price.Dip period is also good because there are many shit and unnecessary coins which automatically die during this period.So only solid coins remain in coinmarketcap and its easy for you to locate best coins.Always buy during dip period,its my formula.
