I do not agree with this, most altcoins are already developing use cases and are also not going to be dependent on BTC, also some exchanges are coming up with direct fiat integration to decouple most altcoins from BTC, so the market will no longer be determined by the price of Bitcoin, i think we will see a recovery before the half of this year.
I will recommend you to take a look at Lockchain.co (LOC) this project will not even depend on the crypto community to create user base, because when the fiat integration happens, people without any knowledge about crypto can still use the product without knowing what runs at the back end.

I also know the future can be manipulate by those who has enough influences. In cryptocurrency case, people who have enough money and man power can manipulate the market as they wishes. I wouldn't be surprise if those people are having their secret chat group and make plans together. The Crypto are working on it to surpass the biggest crashed down in the market that leads some investors stay away for this section. Thats impossible to happen because most of the countries are now slowly adopting to the cryptocurrency's technology which is the blockchain that is why more investors will come to our market

We may not think of to much to happen with crypto. The dip we have today is just a correction and after this, there will be a sunshine to see. 2 years is absolutely so long to wait and most probably people cant wait to see that happening. Take a look at the way things are rapidly growing like you said, I do not believe that the market should really not have some green light before this time.

One point in time, the market will give that chance for the bulls to take over and we can switch back to an uptrend. If we decide to consolidate for 2 years, that would just give us a chance to accumulate the more, but the truth is that, no one absolutely cares for now considering that the future is what that matters and that is what every sensible investor is looking forward to.

Well we dont know what realy will going to happen in the future but if that would gonna happen i would say that maybe your correct. But i dont realy billieve in that since last year so many people even profitionals are expecting that bitcoin will raise untill 10,000$ before the end of 2017 but the highest price hit to 19k so maybe today will be like that again i hope.
