I do too, I do not know if it was very little betting that made them stop, or whatever the reason but to have European cup and then not have bets on it means that they probably fully stopped with the soccer bets. They didn't had champions league as well as far as I can remember, and they are probably not going to have anything when next season starts neither.

I guess its odds thing, people heavily bet on the favorites and then that makes the odds horrible for the favorites, which in the long run great for the underdog gamblers but it still means people will not bet on those odds for too long and go with other places that offer higher odds. Maybe deciding what the odds should be shouldn't be our choice? .

Why? Because BTC decided to stay just a bit above $35k at the decisive moment, and then it moved back to "$30,001 - $35,000" couple of hours later. What a joker this Bitcoin is!

I'm glad I staked only 2k sats, bc I was really contemplating a much higher stake -  the range looked so terribly likely.

I am glad that I placed, at the last moment, also a bet on the range $35,001 to $40,000, so my loss is minimal. I would have had a small profit if it ended in the $30,001 - $35,000 range... Price keeps volatile and fluctuating, but this time it was really a close call .

Yeah, also something like this happened to me in the end of 2020. I bet on a $30k+ range, and the multiplier was great because not many people were expecting the increase. BTC indeed crossed $30k, but that happened several hours later after the New Year's Eve.

Thank you. For the BTC price it's the same for me, I've bet on the 3 ranges between 25k-40k but I didn't make any profit at the end and I even got a small loss. While for the bet on the Ethereum price I bet on 5 ranges (lol) between 1250 and 2500$ and I finally get some winnings.  

Some might say that your winnings were not big, but not me. Winning $5-$10 while having fun is exactly what I want from gambling. Congrats, mate!

I've got to admit I did enjoy checking back in to see the changing nature of the various bets' tallies over the course of a few days/weeks and be able to see exactly how many people had placed wagers on the various contenders, the payouts on offer and the prize pools etc.

It was always pretty good collections from the bets I used to participate in but yeah, I honestly haven't been using them since last season ended, used them quite a bit for regular La Liga and Champions League but have to say the odds were never really good for me (I never did big calculations but I think someone in the past pointed out if you get an upset + weight factor, then it's really good value BUT I rarely bet so far ahead in advance:)

The current price of FUN is quite low now compared to the price 3 months ago so I just take advantage it.

The truth is the biggest advantage is that the price is much lower compared to bitcoin and compared to USD which makes it a good investment to buy now. but I fear that if for some reason the price of FUN falls below the support that is at 39 satoshi it will have a sharp drop in price to levels from 33 satoshi to 23 satoshi, if by chance it drops to these levels I will buy a lot to be able to make 3X to 4X profit in the future.

It's sad you didn't take the time to check your claims before posting, you would realize you were about to post fakenews. If you look at the Expired bets page you can see that 32 bet markets have been opened during the European Cup while 48 matches have taken place to date. That is to say, there have been 2 bet markets available for 3 matches. I'm not saying it's enough to attract bettors and Freebitcoin shouldn't make more efforts on this matter(currently only 2 markets are opened aside from cryptos price markets) but it's false to say they are not offering bet markets for important soccer matches at least.

it's just a logistical issue with getting the bets up in time. We've just put the football semi-finals up but with these knockout competitions, we don't know the next fixtures until the last moment. We tried to do the NBA playoffs but they start playing the next series as soon as you know what teams have gone through. It'll get back to normal when the summer is over and there are regularly scheduled games.

That's correct, in the crypt world there are two stages of things like this ; beforehand priced in , afterwards impact. So let's take bitcoin halving as an example, in the march of 2020 we were under 4k for the first time in a while, and in may 2020 we had halving, the price reached to 10k during may because of halving and people bought thinking bitcoin will go up, which it didn't at that specific month right after halving, it is not an instant skyrocket of price in crypto, however it did later on went as high as 64k a year later, so slowly it grew bigger and bigger.

It means it could happen to fun tokens as well, we are growing bigger and bigger and I think it will take some time but people will see the impact of these things into fun token gradually. I understand that we are used to seeing huge moves in a day, but slow and steady wins the race.

I mean technically speaking the games are still known minimum 24 hours before they start, usually a lot before. Same goes for NBA playoff games, and also euro cup games as well, it was like that before even the tournament started, always had minimum 24 hour beforehand that you can do. In which case I agree that someone in your company would have to keep following that constantly and add it to the betting part of the website, which would be of course a hectic work between many leagues but it would still be quite doable for a one man job.

I will miss it too... I have a little more than you have! Fun token is not so expensive, I was thinking to buy some and take advantage of this promotion, but after some thinking, I decided to not do it! Maybe next time!
